When numerous Managers turn the Spurs job down as they did in the Summer and Spurs then go out and appoint Nuno who is the exact opposite of the profile that Levy told the Spurs fans he was looking to appoint the bigger problem at Spurs is Levy.

Maybe there isn’t a thought out plan or a long-term vision from Levy. Of course some out there would turn down the job.
I mean, you get to see the fixtures beforehand, you know the ‘stock’ you inherit as well as squad depth and you know whether or not if you will have funds to spend on players.
I like Nuno, seems like a nice bloke, but has he been naive or just taking upon the ‘better the devil you know’ and “I’ll give it a go”?
Of course it’s Levy. A short-term fix is somebody who can get the most out of these players and bring a few additions on the cheap that will add value with hope that the club finish higher up the table and good cup runs bringing in revenue.
That’s ultimately not what the faithful want.

The Kane debacle also. Players generally don’t down tools when a highly rated manager comes in. Nuno may not employ a style that people want but he’s a very good manager and before this tarnishing, he was touted for a big job some day.

I think United were frightened off by Conte’s volatility, style of football and his lack of longevity potentially leaving United after a short period of time with Conte players but no Conte.
