31st October 2021 at 7:31 am #187789Nil, at the end of the day it’s only a game buddie with 22 ridiculously paid players chasing a bag of wind around a pitch, much more important things in life. Don’t let your job get on top of you it’s very bad for your health. Take care.Cheers 9’s

31st October 2021 at 7:51 am #187791Cheers Nine and Sean. I am looking for a change so fingers crossed. I don’t think a draw for us was too bad of a result.
We’re fortunate not to lose and it’s still early in the season.
Nine, you’re right mate. That’s the point I was alluding to as to not allow the disappointment consume you because it can cause damage both mentally and physically.

31st October 2021 at 9:23 am #187796Sean…..I do have a moan Sean,,,a bit more frequent recently…must be old age making me grumpy when I try and equate not important things with reality.
Just look at some of our guys on the forum who are or are struggling, I feel for them and count myself lucky. I enjoy my football Sean but not a lot of the stuff that goes with it, I put it down to a new breed of fans who just want to win everything in sight every day of the week. I see two teams on the pitch, one I love the other I appreciate what they bring Impossible to bring back the past. Some really good posters on the Forum which I enjoy reading and I think a well balanced view on the game withthere respective teams_____________________________

31st October 2021 at 1:04 pm #187811Pretty poor from Liverpool yesterday, the only really bright spot being that City had an even worse day. Just a great day for Chelsea really.
Midfield got totally overrun yestertday once Keita went off. I thought Jones was appalling yesterday, too much backwards and sideways passing, and caught in possession too often, and Ox, other than his assist for Mane’s goal offered nothing at all. Hendo was trying to hold the midfield on his own. Yesterday just highlighted the mistake in losing Gini in the summer and not replacing him. Meanwhile he’s sat on the benchj in Paris, probably wondering why he left (though the extra Β£100+k in his pay packet per week probably eases the pain).
It wa sso obviously going to happen with Hendo, Thiago, Fab, Keita and Ox all unable to stay long term fit. Bad mistake by the club, it must be said. Last season’s issues with the centre backs is this season’s problem with the midfield.

31st October 2021 at 2:17 pm #187817“It’s never the moment to be happy about other teams dropping points.” Thomas Tuchel. 30/10 MOTD.
Spot on attitude from Tuchel pointless wishing hoping and celebrating other teams dropping points you have to do it for yourselves.

31st October 2021 at 3:03 pm #187820“Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo could face the sack today after it emerged that the Spurs hierarchy are to hold emergency talks regarding an immediate dismissal. Saturday’s 3-0 defeat against Manchester United saw the side hammered by their own fans, consigning Spurs to their fifth Premier League defeat of the season.” Express 31/10
I would sack Levy too he’s the one primarily responsible for the mess Spurs find themselves in.
Spurs fans made their views known yesterday re Levy as well as Nuno.

31st October 2021 at 3:28 pm #187823Nuno looked like he was spurs 3rd or 4th choice chums so itβs never going to work. Seemed like a panic appointment

31st October 2021 at 3:28 pm #187824AnonymousNice goal from Raphinha. I got a fright when I saw he wasn’t in the starting line-up but Sky used his real name instead of his football name LOL.
Should Liverpool go after him though? Seems like a damn fine player.

31st October 2021 at 3:30 pm #187825AnonymousSean, I havent seen much of Spurs this seaosn now, they do have a good few losses recently but I mean, he did well at Wolves. He arrived there with a good reputation. I can’t say I knew much about him but there was a lot of talk. That said, shouldn’t he get more time and investment before he’s judged?
I agree though, in that levy needs to be fired. He was a fool to not accept the 125m or whatever the final bid was for Kane. They could have replaced him and had a happier, more ambitious squad. This situation is not good when a new manager is trying to get his message across.
I’d keep Nuno, fire Levy and find some good players for Kane, which they will now have to take a cut priced deal for but ya..

31st October 2021 at 3:37 pm #187827Yeah and he also exact opposite of the kind of manager levy said spurs wanted. They may as well have kept Jose who is BY FAR a better manager yet they sack him week of a final. Then they go months without a manager and settle for 10th choice. As if people didn’t have enough to tease spurs about π

31st October 2021 at 3:39 pm #187829Spurs fans want rid of both Nuno and Levy and made that very plain yesterday.
They even turned on Kane yesterday.
9 goals in 10 games tells its own story and a lot of that is down to Nuno’s tactics. Very strange appointment they got rid of one defensive Manager and then appointed another one.
As Pep said the other day “Nobody can survive without results No one No Koeman no Pep no one.β
