Commiserations Shiney and Chucky. He’s surely gone now. Not sure where you go from here though. Choices are limited after seemingly going through the while list of unemployed managers during the summer. Conte even less likely to be tempted after seeing the complete lack of effort, never mind ability on the pitch.

Agree Sean. Palace have been very good. I can’t help but think this job is Vieira’s Man City audition. If he carries on doing a good job there, he’d be my bet to take over there at the end of Pep’s reign.

With all that is going on in the world to day, football should be giving us some pleasure but even that is in short supply and like everything else increasing in costs. Players will move, no matter who, managers will move, no matter who and clubs will change ownership…whats new? All that interest me is to watch an entertaining football match, you win some, you loose some. I still sleep OK at night.

Thanks for the kind messages,I’ve had this for two weeks come tomorrow, unlike anything I’ve had before.
First stop was resucitation as I was in a bad way, then I remember the consultant coming to my bed where I was gasping for air,with a temperature of 39c to tell me I had Covid and Pneumonia , all I could picture was the statistic on the news ” so many people have died with 28 days of a positive test, I thought I was going to be another one to add to the list, so,so scary, and lifechanging without doubt.

There can be a feeling of claustrophobia and sometimes one needs to take themselves out of the ‘scene’. The supporters in make up of this forum comprise essentially of winners. They support clubs that have won the biggest prizes, yet only one to go around, or a few. Just a few.

The main aim is the Premier League and the Champions League.

Consumption, Time. How to deal with setbacks. There will be bad results that’s the nature of the beast, but it’s how you cope with it and again consumption. From personal experience, I’ve been soul-searching answer/s.

I’ve allowed my job to consume me and the stress that comes with it and it’s damaged my health as a result these days I take medication, but genuinely good and moving above in all the right direction.

You figure out what matters the most and your priorities and a draw at this stage of the season when you’re merely 10 games in and only 3 points behind a Top Quality Outfit isn’t the end of the world.

Too many bad things going on in society daily, so this remains one of the best forms of escapism 🙂 🙂
