3 nil. City to go top of the table? At least at lunchtime. π

10th August 2019 at 2:04 pm #44978AnonymousI haven’t heard anything about a change from GD to head to head. It could have slipped past a few of us I guess but I’d say more than likely not.
I wouldn’t be in favour of that system TBH. It might suit Liverpool cause City score insane goals and we do OK against them head to head but it’s a bad way to settle a league IMHO.

10th August 2019 at 2:05 pm #44980Nine, I think I read this online some weeks back, but I can’t remember exactly from where – will have to try and research that.

10th August 2019 at 2:06 pm #44981Sterling just about timed that right. Did initially look offside from Real-Time. We’re seeing the fruits already of VAR me thinks.

10th August 2019 at 2:07 pm #44983Sterling picked up where he left off. Definitely one of the best players in the league now.

10th August 2019 at 2:14 pm #44986How good has VAR been? π
But should Aguero still be taking pens that first one was reminiscent of his pen v Spurs in the CL.

10th August 2019 at 2:18 pm #44989AnonymousNot sure why that 5th goal counted. City player clattered into West Ham lad to start off the play. It was a really obvious foul.

10th August 2019 at 2:24 pm #44990Sterling has come on leaps and bounds under pep. Outstanding player
Thatβs a massive statement beating west ham 5-0 away. City will stroll this league

10th August 2019 at 2:26 pm #44991I thought this might be a bit of a tricky game for City given all the signings West Ham made and they looked pretty good early on but City have just cut them to ribbons today with top top players like Fernandinho Aguero and Bernardo Silva to come in and Sane eventually to come back.
The big thing this season for City is not the signings City have made although Rodri looks very impressive it’s having a fit again Kevin De Bruyne which is like another massive signing after he missed the most of last season.
And Sterling scores a hat trick too.

10th August 2019 at 2:27 pm #44993Adlab, you Sir are Top Of The Table, Congrats π
I actually enjoyed City’s football and they are one of the most enjoyable teams to watch on the deck aside my own.
Pluto, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in Defence. Fabianski may as well take a chill-pill and go through the motions. There are individuals there, but equally, players like Mark Noble in the middle of the park are missed.
VAR is cute in his own unique way and is there to do the job.
Looking forward to Final Score latter this afternoon. Could be VAR’s galore across various grounds hahaha π

How frightening is that for the rest of the PL. π

10th August 2019 at 3:06 pm #44998I think City are better at wiping the floor against the teams outside the top 6 than Liverpool, even if Liverpool still win such games (albeit by less of a margin). Itβs the top 6 mini league that will be all important again and will dictate where the title goes.
