Just to add Sean – thatβs probably the reason Gomez has been picked ahead of Matip. He has the pace to play a higher line which also compacts the space for the opposition and makes the press easier and more effective.

Two lovely quick goals from City although VAR rules out the latter. Harsh but fair. Rodri has been very impressive and looks a fine buy. I think I might have underestimated City’s Summer transfer market. π

That disallowed goal for City was extremely harsh. That offside is so negligible that i think it should have been called as goal.

Mak, the way I see it, beyond the 10 best or strongest Teams in the Prem, there isn’t that much of a gulf in quality between the rest and the Championship.
In spite of TV money, there’s still a gap in equality that needs to be bridged.
West Ham’s extra spring in their steps was inspiration out of a VAR decision.
