I still reckon Liverpool are missing Mane more than they think.

Adlab were you watching the Liverpool game?
Did you see Newcastleβs antics all through the game. At least 5 players went down with cramp. Pope went down for nearby 3 mins in 92 mins so thatβs were it came from
I absolutely loved that last min goal.really enjoyed it. Get the sun, get players back and try to improve. Newcastle did very well but wasted so much time and only their fault it went to 98 mins
Tough game. Elliot man of the match.

My earlier prediction is looking like coming to fruition. I really can see them running away with the league, if they can have injuries go their way. Still reckon they need to tidy up I defence, but that should come as the season progresses. With Haaland they really are a different proposition! If they have the league as good as sewn up by New Years we could see the CL drought come to an end

How do you see Sunday’s game going Steve? I’m actually getting over for this one and going to the game. Will probably regret it! I think you’re much further ahead in your development of the team. We have a long way to go to get to start playing the way the manager wants.

find Ed Howies comments hilarious. Of course it was gamesmanship from Newcastle. He was telling his bench not to give the ball back after 15 minutes. I was shocked when the ref only put up 5 mins. Then pope went down on 92 mins for about 3 minutes. Players dropping like flies every few minutes, two balls on the pitch, tripper conceded a corner then kicked the ball back on the pitch
Absolutely no problem with those tactics from teams coming to the big grounds but donβt Moan about time added on then
That last minute goal was all that much sweeter cause of Newcastle antics. Big win but performances really have to improve. Really enjoy a last min winner

Ed Iβm the most confident Iβve been in many a long year visiting old toilet π
I do think we are further ahead and a better team but with it being football and as you showed against Liverpool you could just easily end up winning this!!!
We should win but should counts for little, still think we will but just wonβt be very amazed if we donβt π€£

Yeah I don’t disagree Steve. We’re where you lot were about a season or so ago and will probably be every bit as inconsistent for another season at least. I have to say, Arteta has looked like proving a lot wrong, me included. Still very early days though.
