That’s a ballsy line-up by Erik Ten Weeks… can’t help but feel that midfield is going to overrun by the Micky Mousers… Wee Erik is many things but a DM is not one of them.

Actually the only weak area in the Liverpool team is their midfield must be due to their injuries. Their forward line and defence look good, I don’t know about United, they bit of a mystery.

Never saw Ten Hag changing his philosophy much. So he’s changed some of the players instead. Probably the best decision from Ten Hags point of view as telling his players to play a different way after coaching his way would not have been ideal and caused confusion. May get more performance from the other players too. We’ll see how they do, but still would expect a Liverpool win.

Why always us?! This build up is so massive anybody would think it was a Wedding!

Good decision to start Milner with Henderson. That will support Elliot who’s very young and needs experience around him. Diaz, Firmino and Salah should be enough.

Strong Liverpool team despite the injuries and no Nunez. This should be a Liverpool win but I’ve a sneaky feeling that there’s going to be a little bit of a reaction from United tonight whether that will be enough to get them a result though I’m not sure.

Klopp needs to get his players together. This has been a shambles and to be fair, I could see the first goal coming.
I am looking for a subscription from elsewhere also. Sky have been absolutely biased with the coverage making it all about United.

The problem with the midfield issue at Liverpool is that it’s particularly crucial to the defence. So if you get through the midfield easily, you’ll just fly past the defenders.

A surprisingly quick half of entertaining football, and just as surprisngly, not a blow out…
YooUtd with a desrving lead, having come out the blocks a million miles an hour for the first half an hour, energy levels dropped and the Micky Mousers came back into it in the last 15 minutes…
… nicely poised for another intriging 45 minutes, still all to play for!
