Hasenhuttl sacking confirmed.
The Southampton fans would love Poch back but that looks unlikely.

7th November 2022 at 10:35 am #200650Yep Chucky Spurs were very unlucky yesterday, gave 2 goals on a platter and it’s not the first time Diers been to blame, think he will be extremely lucky to make the England squad, however on the other other hand Spurs have been generally unlucky on the whole in games this season.

7th November 2022 at 10:35 am #200651Funny how a manager is sacked just when they’re about to face Liverpool!

7th November 2022 at 10:39 am #200652They basically hit the woodwork in the first half and did have their chances. The ball just gravitated in the second half and our lot really struggled to deal with clearances so my belief from that is that we rode our luck.
Defense and midfield needs lots of work to reinstall discipline, but sometimes you need to be able to grind out these type of wins. 3 points is what it gets you and nobody really cares as much, but you do get founded out.
The Prem is competitive. No easy ride for anybody and I’m sure each game more than ever emphasizes a lot of preparation.

7th November 2022 at 10:43 am #200653Chucks, depth has always been your problem mate for several seasons and unfortunately, some of your better players are sold off. Some of the other guys feed off those players that are unfortunately injured; e.g. kulusevski playing with Son.
When you have your fully fit 11, you guys are awesome; that’s the main frustration of it all that shapes unfortunately your league positioning and ability to sustain at the very high end of the table.

7th November 2022 at 10:56 am #200654You’re not wrong, cyber chum, no coincidence our bad run (which has seen us go from 3rd to 4th!) was without the Ginja Ninja… everybody else is just icing on the mouldy cake…
Roll on Jan, is all I can say, there’s two big rumors about transfers, one of which is an AM type player (absolutely missing one of them!) and an upgrade on Royal… (wish somebody would explain to me why Spence isn’t getting a run out, he really couldn’t do any worse at all!)

7th November 2022 at 11:24 am #200657Bloody weird… don’t think there’s been a World Cup I’ve been looking forward to less than this one.
Obviously, I hope I’m wrong, but I can see it all desecnding into choas… a huge clash of cultures!

7th November 2022 at 7:33 pm #200688Chucky, I really don’t like Conte’s tactics, I’d prefer watching wood warp, yes we are still in the top 4 but unless Baldy gets his wallet out in January ?????. We can’t rely on Royal to play an attacking wing back role, when get’s a nose bleed everytime he crosses the halfway line, where is Spence ??? , Davies is a good squad player but shouldn’t start, his first reaction on receiving the ball is to stop running and pass it backwards, Eric is Eric a goal a game given away and where the fuck is the Eriksen replacement 2 years down the line ? It’s clear Conte won’t play youngsters, Sarr & Spence are two examples of this, but he’s willing to play a 33 year old wing back alongside Kane against Liverpool..
My point being we have an unbalanced squad with gaping holes that lack quality , it took long enough to buy a front man to give Harry a break, how long could it take to fill the current vacancies ?_____________________________

7th November 2022 at 9:11 pm #200690Chucky. Have you watched Deadwind and Border Town.
We think they are really good. Are they popular at home?
PS Spurs not the same without Son_____________________________

8th November 2022 at 6:22 am #200693Addres… can’t say I’ve even heard of them… just finished watching that “Inside Man” on Netflix, that weren’t bad (David Tennent & Stanley Tucci)… and yes, Son is a big miss, hopefully he’ll be back for us after Christmas and hopefully the 2021 version, not this years version too!
Shiney, can’t disagree with most of what you said, especially about the players, but “Rome” wasn’t built in a day, and even if we did have limitless cash, we still need to get the right players that the manager wants… give another window or two I reckon. Conte isn’t a complete idiot, I think he know’s Royal/Davies etc… aren’t Champions material… as I mentioned somewhere on here, rumors are suggesting a AM and RWB are on the list for Jan and almost “agreed”… of course, time will tell!

9th November 2022 at 10:24 am #200729Chucky , Dier has always been shite, not to mention that prearranged charade of running to assist his brother in the stands, conveniently after the game.
