They must have known a Potter-style appointment would need patience Adlab. I don’t imagine they’ll be worried about him yet. They don’t look good at all but he’s only just got there. Would be madness if they got rid of him already and I very much doubt they will.

Spot on Ed.
Klopp finished 9th in his first season, Pep finished 3rd in his first season and SAF took 4 years to win his first trophy. Potter has only been at the Club for circa 9 weeks and up to today had only been beaten once in 10 games I won’t start to judge him until he’s had a chance to bring his own players in and he’s had a pre season.

Villa good value for this today. Utd simply not good enough. Been saying all season that we’ll be very up and down this season as we transition to a new style and today is very much one of those down moments. Injuries are no excuse as everyone is struggling this season. Just not good enough

I believe firmly if Arsenal keep this momentum up around Xmas, then they are genuine challenges for Manchester City. Perhaps the only real ones for this season.
