Why are you even thinking of the title? The club need to reach another level if we’re to secure a top 4 spot. getting into the CL again next season is the minimum requirement but doing well in this seasons one is still up for grabs.

Nil, Liverpool were never in the title race mate and sadly neither were anyone else and other than perhaps United I can see it being that way next season and for a while yet.

You must mean West Ham United, because if it was the that mob who’s bottom got spanked by my Spuds last night, I reckon you’re on the sauce….. and I don’t mean HP!!

Anyway, I’m still waiting for everybody to start playing the “Not the Team They Used to Be!” record, heard frequently after the Spuds beat Madrid… and Dortmund… and LiVARpool…. which I guess makes Newport County the best team in Europe!! 🙂

Chucky, lets be honest mate you know, I know and everyone in football knows that Mourinho will throw significant money at it again this Summer and will keep doing so.

Currently every one of the chasing pack is a country mile behind City but United have the best chance of catching them because they are the only club competing with them that have the financial clout to significantly strengthens their team. But even for them it won’t be easy considering where City are currently team and squad wise and their seeming unlimited expenditure.
