But if this week has taught us anything you just never know. All the Chelsea youngsters had decent games I can see both Mount and Abraham back at the Bridge next season.

It’s the same with Wilson for us.

Really interesting to see how mount, Abraham and Wilson fair next year.

I think Abraham had the best chance out of the 3 as a squad player and backup or maybe 1st choice centre forward if the transfer ban stays in place

Sean, agree totally with that mate it takes time Loftus Cheek is a demonstration of this who in recent games has been our best player.

My only caveat to what you say is that imo Abraham should be part of the Chelsea squad next season and getting games whether there is a transfer ban or not.

I agree that Leeds are too big to not be a PL side. Sheffield is also a good argument.. I never understood why the Sheffield and Bristol teams are so shit.

THE PL ENDS TODAY LADS!!!!!!

Before it does, I have to say that this is the best PL season in Liverpools history. That is ok to say for me because we’ve yet to win it and although we likely won’t this time around, I think we’ve maybe give City fans their favourite PL season also. It’s been epic but it’s got to end some time.

Finishing on all these points second without nothing would be heart-breaking.

Pep and Man City could potentially finish with 3 trophies.

The lads here will probably remember me and others just reeling in shock from the first Barca game. Then I was feeling pretty deflated after the City V Leicester result. It seemed like those 2 results had condemned our season.

It’s almost like Newton’s 3rd law applied in some way(equal and opposite reaction), when we hammered Barca in the return. For every bit of negativity that we felt from the first match, came a positive reaction of equal proportions and then some.

Our season goes beyond todays game and that’s why we are more accepting of City likely taking the title. I mean, just think… Come the 1st of June, one of Liverpool or Spurs will be the CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE.

I think we’ve got to let that thought sink in. When City (surely) take the title today, we have this to fall back on and it’s no small thing. The Cl is so special, Spurs fans, if you lads best us, you’ll bloody well see how amazing it feel to be the European Champions. I will admit that I’m desperate for Klopp to get it this time but if we’re to lose to someone then it’s no bad thing that it’s ye.

Gonna be cool to watch the PL trophy with a red ribbon on one side. It might be the closest we’ll get but you gotta admit, that’s pretty damn close! Well done to Klopp and the boys for giving us a final day title challenge!
