Tammy scores the decisive penalty in the penalty shoot out and Villa reach the Play off Final for 2nd consecutive year.
That boy has nerves of steel. ?
Well deserved really Villa dominated both games.
Leeds v Derby tomorrow. I can only see a Villa v Leeds Final and both Club’s are really PL Clubs.

14th May 2019 at 10:55 pm #40901Adlab just forget it, really you canβt be serious, your better than that. Those city people are not only a disgrace to the club, they are a disgrace to themselves. Dickheads throwing shit at a bus is one think but mocking such an incident like they were is unacceptable in my books. I get you stuck up for your club but this is a different level.

14th May 2019 at 10:59 pm #40903Oz, yes mate it would be good to see both Club’s back in the PL . Leeds look favourites but Villa have the experience of losing last year’s Final.

15th May 2019 at 1:06 am #40907Oz, some common ground there for us mate with Leeds. I would love to see them back.
They’re playing the return leg Tomorrow Evening so I can’t wait and plus they’re holding a 1 goal advantage over Derby.

15th May 2019 at 7:48 am #40910read the words from the link provided….I may be showing my ignorance here (apologies if i am) but to me the words would seem to indicate its a piss take aimed at Liverpool FC and the fans for alwaysw being “victims” and thus not able to win a trophy
its certainly in bad taste, the players clearly picked this up from their fans who have been singing it all season but i still didnt see the “nasty” side from the way i read it it was more a jibe at all the reasons pool feel “robbed”
if that makes sense?
again dont mean any offence to anyone and end of the day shouldnt have happened….
Aston Villa in the final, will it be Leeds or Derby? Be amazing if Frank took them up after one season in charge…but i would love to see leeds back in the PL in general and with their rivalry with united and the current state of united who are no longer all conquering it would make for some tasty games!

15th May 2019 at 7:50 am #40911Adlab and others were in here going mad over the bus incident last year yet ask us to get over this and call us sire losers lol.
Give it over. Itβs well out of order. Itβs the players and itβs a disgrace and leaves a really bad tasteDisgusting how you even try to defend that. Gave city every bit of praise under the sun for winning the league. Have absolutely no respect for them now

15th May 2019 at 9:04 am #40909Looking forward to it Nil. The only time I didnβt like Leeds was that game years ago where Viduka ( and his Aussie partner in crime Kewell) got the better of us in a thriller, 4-3 I think it ended up & from memory Viduka got a hat trick. Cracking game to watch that was, except the final result.

15th May 2019 at 9:11 am #40920Come on, 999. We’re grown ups on here and therefore of course this is a relevant topic for conversation and debate. Some of us have very little interest in what happens between Leeds and Derby, but something like this upsets and aggravates a lot of people. Hillsborough affected very many people personally, myself included, and ‘always the victim’ is the line in the disgusting song sung by many opposition fans mocking the disaster. Courts of law have shown the causes. And as for Liverpool fans getting battered in the streets, that’s an obvious reference to Sean Cox, a decent guy over from Ireland with his brother to enjoy a game of football who suffered life changing injuries following the attack by Roma fans. I can only hope that the City players did not understand what they were singing, but I find that difficult to believe particularly for the English lads in the team and Sterling most of all having spent time at Anfield.
It really is indefensible and frankly I’m shocked that anyone is trying to defend it. I don’t mind a bit of piss taking and banter but this is just low.

15th May 2019 at 9:30 am #40922Hightown, I really donβt think the city players knew what they were singing about. I really hope so in anyway.
Iβve said my piece anyway. Sore losers is pathetic from adlab.

15th May 2019 at 9:40 am #40924I’m not aggravated, but I’m disgusted quite frankly. The fact that this got as far as being filmed. Imagine anyway if this was the other way round and the hysteria that would have followed, not to mention the condemnation?
Players like Vinny too who I lauded just a few days ago. Reference too made in the direction of Liverpudlians organically from the City when this club has an enormous Fan Base. It’s ignorance or just pure lack of education and awareness.

15th May 2019 at 9:44 am #40925Sean, I was shocked seeing that. It showed a completely new side to the personality of these players. Sure, celebrate, have a bit of a laugh, but mocking distastefully with the language and the intent has gone down big time in my estimation of this current Man City team.

15th May 2019 at 10:02 am #40926999, what are you afraid of? You really don’t need to tell grown men not to speak their mind. Football is more that what happens on the pitch. That’s why Barcelona say “more than a club” and Liverpool say “YNWA”. Where money come from matter. How fans act matter. How players conduct themselves matter. To downplay it is plain stupid. I train my own son’s team. We try to teach the kids about winning and losing with respect. That’s important. It doesn’t help when City players who are idolized by kids sing a rotten song like that and grown men defend it or downplay it.

15th May 2019 at 10:41 am #40930as far as the “victim” stuff being used, i can see why it can and has been used with Hillsborough in mind but for a lot of fans that is real history that they know little about due to their age (unless a pool supporter) i think in recent years the “victim” line being used refers to the perceived liverpool supporter Psyche…the slip by Gerrard, the disaloowed goal, the red not given on Salah and so on and the fans reactions to all of these things over many years that make it seem to the outsider they are always the victim of a dodgy decision that has meant they have not won when they could/should have…..
all gets a bit confused i think….

Line is totally related to hillsborough mate. There no other way of dressing it upYe some young fans might not understand but thatβs what it refers to.

15th May 2019 at 11:19 am #40939fair enough mate and im sure you are correct and it is (mostly)
but i for one could see it being used and not meaning that….
none of that should go on and its the same for united with Munich and what not
as i said though im fairly ignorant of many of the finer points of these things….maybe many others are too…
