HH-No m8,I meant the apology has to come from Nils side, not Maks.Nut I agree with 27s,maybe the best thing for Nil is to take some time off and realise that its just football and that there are so many things in life that are really important. To make things worse, its a thing between Liverpool fans,a team that is having amazing success on & off the pitch.
Mak-Im not a very dedicated Christian myself either, dont consider myself a fully religious person but I believe in God.Take it easy pal and hope things pick up very soon for ya bruv.ps:you will thrash us on Sunday,I fear.

16th January 2020 at 6:28 pm #60774AnonymousNine, to be absolutely clear, I wholeheartedly support Eds decision. I was in fact trying to make it clear that Im standing away and want no voice in how this is dealt with.
Appreciate the well wishes lads but as Nine says, it’s time to get back to talking football.
For me, Im a bit tapped out on topics I guess besides thr potential news of Rashford missing the game? Himself.and Martial are that team in my opinion. To lose one of them could be devastating for them. Even tho its martial that I have in my FPL team, it’s Rashford who offers the rather huge threat to top 6 teams.
I have a vague memory of martial scoring 2 against us on whag was his debut, or very close. He’s devestating on a good day.

17th January 2020 at 5:16 am #60780With Rashford you just know there will be the whole will he, wont he thing going on right up until one hour before kickoff when no one will be in the least bit surprised to see his name will be on the team sheet. Against Liverpool he is such an important part of Ole’s tactic that I think he’ll play even if not fully fit.
Probably run about ok for 20 minutes then struggle to move for the rest of the game whilst everyone asks why Ole never subbed him!

17th January 2020 at 7:52 am #60783Big risk playing Rashford with a back injury with him reportedly having pain killing injections you just don’t know what further damage he might do to the injury and how effective he will be
too given that one of his major assets is speed. But if United can get Rashford on the pitch they will such is their desperation perhaps understandably to get a result in this game.
Even with a fit Rashford I can only see a comfortable Liverpool win probably by two clear goals.
Should be a great game though I think you’d get good odds on all 22 players still being on the pitch at the end of 90 minutes.

17th January 2020 at 7:59 am #60785Iβve absolutely no doubt Rashford will start.
Utd willrisk him.
Utd showed againest city if they are given space on the break they can hurt teams. These games are often very scrappy and I think Sunday will be the same.
Absolutely huge week coming up for us

17th January 2020 at 8:27 am #60790id hope so! imm not anti pool and will congratulate them when they win the PL, i juts hope they lose ONE match on the way to winning π
the longer it goes on the harder it gets fopr Arsenal fans, it was the same under city last year too!
they said it would never be repeated but these guys have moved the bar up so damn high it seems more of a when rather than if before someone does it, and with far less draws than we had!

17th January 2020 at 8:36 am #60791AnonymousI’m with Sean here, I think Utd will play Rashford if there is any option to do so.
But Seriously, we’re FINALLY getting close to this weekends games. Is it just me or has it been dragging on? Sure, the Liverpool V Utd match isn’t until Sunday but we’ve a few interesting ones tomorrow. I’ll have an eye on the Watford Spurs game. You couldn’t play Watford at a worse time. It’ll also be fun to watch both opponents lose for the first time ever in the Norwich V Bournemouth game.
We can’t expect much from Palace against City I guess. I’m expecting them to get absolutely smashed but you never know, they can be a bit of a bogey team. Some other decent enough games but this weekend is a good chance for Chelsea to put some real distance between themselves and Utd. We’ll have a few extra supporters come Sunday.
Southampton are really on the up of late, I guess it’s not bad for confidence when you have someone like Ings who you know will likely score at least 1, regardless of who he’s up against. That should be a good match and maybe the pick of the Saturday. Wolves haven’t had a win in 3 matches, so it’ll be interesting to see which side shows up here, with one eye on next weekend for us.

17th January 2020 at 8:43 am #60792AnonymousSteveo, it’s ok to want Liverpool to lose man π I get it and well, I was about to say that I don’t care as long as we can do it but… no, I definitely would care, that would be fricken awesome… but we just want the title and look, we’ve 17 games to go. That’s a long long time in the PL.
Anyway, you might well get your wish this or next weekend. If not then of course there is always away to City. Depending on how the table is at that point, that could be a very tough fixture to come away with anything from.

17th January 2020 at 8:59 am #60795AnonymousIt definitely would take the shine off it. It would also stretch out the games left before I hold my hands up and say, right, it’s over!
Jesus, I couldn’t stomach another bad result against Utd. So many poor matches to watch in our recent history, so many points dropped.

17th January 2020 at 1:46 pm #60808Rashford sounds doubtful to me either that or Ole is a very good poker player.?
Obviously Liverpool want to beat United they have been their major rivals but if the game went against them it wouldn’t be the end of the world obviously it would be nice to go through the PL unbeaten in winning the title but it is really only winning the title that matters.
I think Liverpool will win by a couple of goals on Sunday but whether they can go through the season unbeaten I’m not sure, once they win the title with a number of games to spare the intensity is likely to drop off that’s only to be expected and we’ve seen that previously once a team has secured the title, also I suspect Liverpool will be involved in the latter stages of the CL and with the PL won or all but won they might take their eye of the ball around those PL games.
But we’ll see, but if Liverpool don’t go through the season unbeaten I don’t think it will change anyone’s opinions of Liverpool being the great team that they are.
