Hmmn, smells a bit like Wenger!
Maybe that could be an affordable 3 points to lose, we shall see. Tottenham still leave the floodgates open so effectively, 2 places up for grabs with 4 teams very much in contention, though a big opportunity for Chelsea to go 3rd.

7th April 2019 at 4:20 pm #36986That’s the thing Ed you need luck to do the almost impossible.
City are a great team and have a great squad but having a chance of winning the Quadruple you need a lot of luck too.
It’s nearly impossible but the League Cups in the bag and City can park the FA Cup until the Final now. You wouldn’t write it off would you.

7th April 2019 at 4:28 pm #36987I would be very surprised if one of Spurs/Man Utd don’t make the top 4 this season. It’s togetherness and fight that you need at this stage. And those two have it more than the others.

7th April 2019 at 6:18 pm #36993ED…we will not get the quad…the squad is getting very ground down and it shows, I will be happy with what we have achieved this season already

7th April 2019 at 6:33 pm #36994Brian, quite right and the fact you’ve had an easy run in is because the other big sides have not been good enough. That’s not City’s problem. City have been the best side in the FA Cup without a doubt but there’s no getting away from the fact they’ve been fortunate with the sides they’ve drawn. Very much like England’s run to the WC semi final, I might add. I certainly wasn’t complaining then!

7th April 2019 at 6:39 pm #36995Absolutely heart-breaking for Wolves and you have to feel for them and their Supporters.
In games like these particularly when you’re up against it, you need one moment of brilliance and huge credit to Deulofeu.
What a final set up for next Month. Only wish they could go back to 3pm Kick Off.

8th April 2019 at 8:19 am #37007Can anybody explain Ozil? He just disappears in games. Particularly in tough away games. £300,000 a week!

8th April 2019 at 8:56 am #37010Adlab, On his day Ozil is brilliant problem is that there are to few days.
Wenger justified the increase on the basis of how much it would cost to replace Ozil in transfer fees plus the new players wages?
Ozil is not an Emery player really particularly away from home in a tough fixture. Thoughts Stevo?

8th April 2019 at 9:23 am #37012Or perhaps more appropriately considering the 64 million dollars can City do Chelsea a favour.
Lots of twists likely on this one methinks Chucky. I think Spurs will be Ok with 4 out of 6 games at home I think it’s a race for 4th place between Arsenal, Chelsea and United and Chelsea have to play Liverpool and United away.
Hopefully we can summon up the spirit of Demba Ba and then get something at OT but I wouldn’t put money on it.?
