I’m not sure the quadruple is do able and putting aside the strength of the City squad for a minute it’s still preety amazing coming up to the middle of April that City are still on for the Quadruple.
Can’t remember any team being in this position previously, can anyone else?

I don’t begrudge this business of pumping endless amounts of money on players.
That’s down to our Federation to regulate which I rather not want to reopen as a discussion because it’s old, tired and done the rounds on forums for years.
Nothing will resolve in that department till the bubble bursts.
The players to me are first class decent professionals and nobody believe to on a pedestal higher than their peers.
It’s hard work to meet high expectations and to be fair, Brighton gave City a good game. Plus, you have to have a big squad these days just to compete on a Wednesday-Saturday front.

Going forward, that win at the Saints was vital for us as next Sunday may deliver another twist as Liverpool’s game is played straight after Palace-Man City.
Travelling away to face Tottenham, then another away trip may prove costly, whilst we have 2 home games, though Chelsea will be hard, but Mo Salah has rediscovered his goal-scoring touch.

Good win for the Gers today lunchtime, especially with Celtic being held at home, but 11 points with only 5 games left now is in vain.
Celtic a couple of wins effectively from securing the title and Rangers are going to need too many favours for Celtic to slip up.

Arsenal’s away from this season has been the problem and it’s how they respond to being a goal down at Goodison.
I’ve mentioned this before in how this adds value to the quality of the Prem, and I feel after Man United, there is a mini-league between Wolves, Leicester, Everton and Watford.
It would be nice if 7th was rewarded with a Uefa Cup Spot. Those teams look to be on par with each other and at this point of the season, they are all going for it.

Rotherham, Burnley, Newport, Swansea, Brighton. Has anyone ever got to the final with an easier run than that? That alongside Chelsea probably being the better side in the league Cup final just shows you need a bit of luck to be in contention for 4 trophies and City have certainly had that. Not their problem though and you can only beat the sides in front of you. You wouldn’t bet against them getting all 4.
