5th April 2019 at 10:28 pm #36904Not felt properly elated like this for a while and I hate Sundays and Sunday games.
Just superb to turn around our fortunes and can celebrate this weekend living the moment, in style π

5th April 2019 at 10:59 pm #36907I know, we’ve not won anything, but from tonight’s experience and living the life, I feel elated, wholesome :-D.
Yet Goldstein’s Phone In is as typical – no real reaction needed.
Then, it just feels subdued and just descending away.
Don’t get it. What if we had lost? It’s almost as if, that was expected out of us and we’ve disappointed our detractors.

6th April 2019 at 9:22 am #36912Nil, that was a massive win mate. Really delighted
Another few late goals
We can be so sloppy at times but show a bit of grit.
Thought Bobby was excellent. Matip had another strong game.
We can relax now for another few days
I liked Klopp about people should expect us trying to play like city. City are on another level with their passing. They rarely make a bad pass.
We play some really good stuff. We are a good team and last night was a huge win

6th April 2019 at 12:39 pm #36914Sean, too right mate. I’m just purely thankful in getting the win and can freely enjoy the weekend knowing Man City don’t play a league game.β½οΈ
I’m noticing how calm we remained after going a goal down and how we dialled up at the right time to attack and get the goals needed.
I’m looking at Chelsea as being one of our hardest games.

6th April 2019 at 1:53 pm #36916Sean I think we passed like city last season & regularly tore teams to shreds so we can play like that. As you know we are a lot more reserved this season & appear to me to be trying to play a more balanced game. Going off the table itβs working better than the all out attack from last season but I must admit I enjoyed watching us a lot more last season. Hopefully though it will pay dividends in a month or so & we will get something out of it.

6th April 2019 at 2:00 pm #36917AnonymousThis has got to be making City uncomfortable now. They have some big games coming, their train of soft targets is ending and we’re still here, waiting for one slip up.

6th April 2019 at 2:47 pm #36919I don’t think for example, Tottenham would lose every single meeting against City. I think there’s a possibility of them getting a point at the Ethiad.
I also think Pep will naturally tweak/rotate his first 11 knowing his task.

6th April 2019 at 3:36 pm #36920Mak….no…I am not uncomfortable…if you win then you deserve it but it is still an “if”
I have said from the start I think the quad is out of reach, if we loose the semi though to day, that will be a game less and should give us an incentive to go for PL which I think is more realistic than CL this season. Our problem is still at full back and wise teams know this, Walker is error prone, great going forward though and we have no established left back. Mendy is a right off, lucky if we see him play this season, think Pep will replace him next season, if Zinchenov gets fit he can do a job but looks like he is out for a few games. Try a youngster, maybe, we have some promising ones or more than likely play Danilo there and ask Sane to do some backing up, he is quick enough. It will be a good finish, I have a feeling it will go all the way but there is always a surprise around the corner_____________________________

6th April 2019 at 3:37 pm #36921Oz, we are more reErved. It certainly not over reserved. Itβs the opposition also who are afraid to attack us as we are so quick on the break
We score plenty of goals and create chances but the beSt thing is we can defend and we have balance
Iβd take this way of playing all day rather then last season. We just conceded to many goals, were far to open and we looked very shaky from set plays.
My main point mate was we are sloppy on the ball ie to many misplaced passes.
This team has a bit of steel. We used to go behind and it was game over

6th April 2019 at 3:49 pm #36922Sean, I think part of that problem last night was Trent as he had an off-day.
Matip sometime looks vulnerable. I think Lovren is pushing to get back in.
You’re right mate about how we approach games and think back to Klopp’s early years when people criticised us for not having ‘plan b’.

6th April 2019 at 3:50 pm #36923Brian, as a city fan Iβm sure you are just enjoying it all mate
If city win all their games then we just have to hold your hands up and say there was no shame losing out to such a great side
Ciry have won their last 14. We are just getting through games.city are coasting through games
Ciry arenβt conceding goals either now. I just canβt see them dripping points
People point to utd palace and spurs games but city will win all those.Tgis city team is on another level. They are that good
