Ed, no Italian sides in that list, what with their reputation for swapping sides Iβd have had at least one in…..Pagan

26th January 2021 at 4:01 pm #174432Ed, one of those times Iβm happy Arsenal didnβt make the list π
My god we do seem to have the worse fans
We have the stars of AFCTV and anyone wanting to waste time and really see how awful fans can be
Go read a few threads on our page on TTMakes me cringe

26th January 2021 at 4:26 pm #174434Nil talked about when he was in school I think Nil hit the nail on the head there it’s a schoolboy thing changing Clubs proper football fans don’t jump from one Club to another the Club is enduring whatever the circumstances.
There’s a saying that says “you can change your job, change your car, change your Wife but the one thing you can never change is your Football Club” Moos has now done it more than once!

26th January 2021 at 5:15 pm #174441Tuchel, his two Assistants and all the players are at Cobham ahead of a 6pm training session which is quite different to the norm and mirrors tomorrow’s 6pm ko v Wolves and signals the way things will be under Tuchel.

26th January 2021 at 5:34 pm #174442I think when some fans are frustrated or disappointed they say stuff like they supporting another teams but probably still favor their old team. I like City too. Funny enough maybe cause blue is my favorite color I tend to favor teams that wear blue except for Rangers.

26th January 2021 at 5:48 pm #174444Thatβs the way klopp trains nine. If there is a match at 8 , the team starts at that time during the week. If itβs at 5 the same

26th January 2021 at 6:22 pm #174447Interesting aspect here. If you didn’t support your team which would be the next. Wouldn’t expect me to say United or Nike to say Everton. But which other team could you support?

26th January 2021 at 6:41 pm #174449Adlab, it seems to me Moos intent is leave the existing team he supported to support another team. Bit of joking around and poking fun just to lighten an otherwise mundane Tuesday.
Some fans take an interest or liking to other teams and those teams can become a bit of a soft spot for them if there is a strong emotional attachment which is fine.
I took an interest in Reading back in 2005-06 under Steve Koppel and there were just awesome in the Championship. I couldn’t go to Everton lol π
Like United in the mid 80s – nice kits as well and that was down to one of close primary school friend back then. I knew nothing about rivalry π

26th January 2021 at 6:46 pm #174450Other team, weβll always had a bit of a soft spot for Notts County, used to watch them when I was at school, now if I go to a match itβs usually Millwall, and of course thereβs the mighty Stranraer…..Pagan

26th January 2021 at 7:53 pm #174456There was a situation in Manchester from 1944 to 48 when Mancunians watched City one week and Utd the next, i was one of them.Never any bother. Not sure how it stopped but the ground sharing at Maine Rd may have played a part in the beginning. My teacher was an ex City Full back who was friendly with Matt Busby, ex City captain before he managed Utd. Strangely, our teacher took no interest in the school football team until we lost the first two matches 7-1 and 5-0 if I remember right, then without warning on the Friday before the next match, out went the music lesson and in came a tactical plan on the blackboard, the rest of the season we were not defeated!!! I enjoyed my football but could not wait to get off to a match to see some of the greats of the era

26th January 2021 at 8:31 pm #174457I started out watching Brentford in the old 3rd Division who were a Bus ride away from Twickenham and as far as I was allowed to go then when I was very young.
A bit older and I was ok for Fulham and Chelsea on alternate Saturdays train to Putney and a walk to Craven Cottage or a No 14 to the Bridge but Chelsea stole my heart.
Still went to Fulham on alternate weekends though until I was old enough to follow Chelsea away.
