So the Mighty Luxembourg were held by France to a 0-0 Draw tonight, Seriously though do posters think the Gap between the Top sides and the so called Minnows is closing slightly.I ask this as in Years gone by France would have been ahead comfortably at Half Time and would have probably run up a Cricket score,Same with England on Friday against Malta,Struggled for 80 or so minutes then ended up with a more comfortable scoreline than the performance suggested,

Yes it is, and fully agree.

I saw that in Wales-Austria last night.

That game needed something special. I can’t pinpoint as to why, but it seems we can’t just go by a ‘label’ or reputation.

The so-called minnows out there have represented themselves not to be anybody’s doormat.

I blame Maureen, he has somehow managed to show the world that a team with distinctly average players are more than capable, with decent organization, to hold teams who on paper should be walking away with games and with no disrespect to the “lesser” teams, who can really blame them? Going toe to toe with them is only going to end with a spanked Arsenal….
