So its Anthony Taylor who has been chosen to take charge at Arsenal vs Chelsea game? and the last time he had refereed that fixture Wenger bullied him to submission. i’m not a fan of this referee i feel he is too soft. And i remember the last time he was in charge in the FA cup final. he let Sanchez score with him hand. i’m not comfortable with him.

1st January 2018 at 2:45 pm #10748Tbh I thought that was the case. So cheating can only be reviewed if a pen is awarded or a man sent off. You can’t even give a retrospective yellow. So Oliver saw the Dive today or possibly didn’t but didnt issue a caustion and Smith gets away with it as the Dive panel have their hands tied. Why on earth can’t these bloody fools at the FA sort simple stuff like this out. They are incompetent. Seriously put me or anyone on this forum in charge of the FA and I guarantee you we could do a better job than these bloody imbeciles.

1st January 2018 at 4:53 pm #10759That could be the end of Hughes, resting players and then losing the next match as well wonβt go down too well….Pagan

1st January 2018 at 5:14 pm #10763Bus Parker has probably costed Hughes his job. Had an incline Newcastle would get something out this – beautiful cross field ball played in the run up to the goal – every Striker’s dream to have it put on the plate, meet it and put it away.

1st January 2018 at 7:28 pm #10801Only De Bruyne (9), David Silva (8) and Leroy SanΓ© (8) have more Premier League assists than Pogba (7) this season β all three have played at least 250 minutes more than the Frenchman
— Ryan Baldi (@RyanBaldiFW) January 1, 2018
Much better from Utd today and Pogba played like a captain. Some of his touches and passes were just brilliant. When Pogba is playing well, Utd are such a better side. Everton didn’t get a shot on target all game. All without a fit number 9 with both Lukaku and Zlatan out.

1st January 2018 at 8:06 pm #10807NB.I’m quite confused by your comment earlier ?
Bus Parker has probably costed Hughes his job.
That’s one accusation I don’t think you can level at Stoke.
Since Hughes came in.For example. This season they’ve conceded 49 goals.Rafa Benitez has been far worse in that regard.Especially against us
last week.I’m of the opinion any manager of any team can set up how they like and as their
resources dictate. To blame “bus parkers” simply distorts the team who couldn’t break the opposition
down.Defending is important as the attacking side of the game.As any coach will tell you.

1st January 2018 at 8:24 pm #10810PPT, from listening to Hughes’ post match interview on the back of today’s defeat, he seemed quite upbeat and self-assured. Maybe he has genuine faith in his owners, but time will tell as to what happens.
Rafa sets his teams up the way he has done because Ashley won’t give him the funds. Bus Parker is a bit of a nick name and I don’t particularly like Newcastle in the Prem these days because of the way they play or are forced to play from circumstances but you might argue it is what it is, but on the evidence of what I saw from Palace yesterday, maybe one doesn’t have to park the bus for the whole of 90 minutes to gain a positive result.

Without taking anything away from Pogba, i think his display was more to the fact that Everton has been very poor especially in the second half. they haven’t put any pressure on him at all. they were hoping for the point than the 3. but that said United deserved their win. it won’t be long before Everton fans turn on Sam Allardayce. no wins in four games. and i can’t see them winning their next few games. Liverpool in the cup, Spurs and Arsenal away. i thought Mourinho have grown in to the game in the second half. as he has realised that big Sam only wants the point.
