I think the utd pen count from when Bruno joined us about 15? Not sure but nearly all of them have been clear pens. Nothing dubious about many of them only the one at villa last season and the Leipzig one this season
Someone said utd have had 42 pens since ole joined??? 😂 that couldn’t be true
Everything is going right for utd. Last nin goajs, big come backs etc. No injuries to key players was a huge plus for us last season
I still fancy city. Winning games keeping clean sheets

Completely agree Sean. The Villa one and the Leipzig ones were ridiculous and I said so at the time.
As for us getting more than usual since Ole came in, it’s no major surprise really considering we play a counter attacking game and we probably have the quickest forward line in the league.

Why I think some people are believing this united penalty story is while the penalty counts are more or less the same amongst top teams and this is because they probably attack more the timing of united penalties is giving that impression. They are getting the penalties at more critical times in the games, whether they justified or not is a different matter

There’s a lot of confirmation bias as well simply because it’s Utd. Nobody bats an eyelid at the fact Leicester have had almost twice as many penalties as any other side this season.

Editor that’s not entirely true Liverpool were heavily criticized last season cause var appeared to be favoring them, they were even being referred to as Livarpool everywhere. Chelsea were also getting it when they won the league under Conte, the unfortunate truth is that controversial decisions do go a long way in giving successful clubs a big helping hand and that applies to all clubs, remember Fergusons days in particular. The current United or Liverpool or City teams have nothing on them.

Blaze, I probably made my point badly. I’m not necessarily saying there’s an agenda against Utd only. Just that certain clubs decisions are unfairly highlighted. Often when a team is seen as more of a threat. As seen with Liverpool last season, as you said.
Nobody cares if Brighton get a dodgy pen but Utd or Liverpool get a dodgy decision, it’s a headline. Same applied to Chelsea and Arsenal over the years.
City get incredibly kind cup draws but little is made of it because they haven’t been successful long enough for people to get annoyed by them but it will come.
As for Sean, he definitely doesn’t just agree. Had many good debates with Sean over the years

Some of the VAR decisions that favoured Zebras in EPL this season.
1.Gift Penalty after full time against Brighton (2 points).
2.chelsea were denied a clear penalty at Old Trafford (1 point)
3.A gift penalty was retaken against westbrom after an initial miss (2 points)
4.Bruno failed to receive second yellow card twice before he scored against Leicester (1 point)
5.Pogba dive against Aston Villa was given as a penalty (2 points)
A team with 8 gift points in just 16 EPL matches isn’t worth celebrating._____________________________

As I said previously if true I would sack any employee for gross misconduct. But you have to be sure.
I have sacked employees in the past for minor breaches of confidentiality. If such a party took place, knowingly organised then for me its severe discipline if not a sacking.
