Well we do cityboy mate. We have no fit centre backs. We need a centre back bigtine. Our 1st choice 3 centre backs are all injured.

Jota, thisgo , Alison, fabhino,vvd, Gomez , keita, milner, Taa abd a few more have all missed at least 5 weeks each.

We are playing a 19 year old centre back beside a midfielder. I’m not sure how we are still top. We need a centre back

Its not spending money for the sake of it. We needed a centre back when lovren left. Never mind now mate

Whilst I agree with you Sean I don’t think Klopp will take a sticking plaster to it though buddie he will look for a long term buy and if he can’t get one will probably not buy but we’ll see. Cheers 9’s

We have a really tough one today. Everton, in form, away. We will have to make changes again. Too many games in a short period. At this stage I wouldnt bet on who will win the league. At least six teams in it.

Sean… Other Liverpool fans… Not sure you need anyone… Sure, every fan wants new signings, but you’re top of the league and the players being called upon are delivering.

It is a topsy turvy league with some very strange results, Villa loss included. But you’re not playing badly and can look down your noses at the rest.

The only other club are city with two losses, and theyre starting to find a little form… Those will be the top two in either or order.

I do fancy Spurs/ United, Chelsea to be battling for 3/4 spots… But Everton are in the mix with Villa and these clubs look to be throwing points away currently.

Mad season, and im not sure Liverpool will throw it away. Back to back champions?

I certainly wouldn’t discount Klopp buying a Centre Back Sean I just dont think he’ll panic buy and it will all depends who is available and at what cost and how that player would fit in when VVD and Gomez are back and available to play at the end of this season/next season.

Nothing to throw away 442 as we are only 3 points ahead mate and I fully expect , like I have days all season, for city to really get going.

I’m not one for really calling for signings lads but we have needed a centre back since lovren was sold.

I don’t think we will panic buy but an injury to fabhino and we have willians and Philips as first choice. They have 5 pl appearances between them. We can’t be expected to win the pl with our 5th and 6th choice centre backs

Once again, Results showing as draws and 2 points dropped from the 2 matches that have been played today.

No easy ride here. Winter is making it’s presence felt and it’s bitterly cold to play.

Villa have been superb this season, especially considering how close they were to relegation last time. They even managed to sneak a win against the champions in closely fought contest!

I think the intensity of the so called top teams has dropped due to the hectic schedule and wintery conditions. I expect many more soft tissue injuries for all players in the coming weeks.

Can’t believe how dumb skill wise so many players are, they run down the wing and attempt to cross the ball through an opposing players body when all they have to do is deftly pull the ball back the opposing player is already committed and would be out of the way, you see it so often in every single game. If only I had the opportunities these players all get.
