Good summary Nine. The point many miss with this is that the ref then has to deem it to be a clear and obvious error. It’s very debatable however many times you look at it, hence the chance of it having been overturned are slim.
Again, the fact so much has been made about the Pogba pen but not a word about Pogba taking an elbow to the face is exactly my point here. So many have a photographic memory of decisions in favour of their rivals yet fail to see the many decisions going against them.

The whole Mings/Pogba thing is exactly the point I’m making too. Pogba gets a debatable pen. Plays for Utd. Social media explodes. Mings elbows Pogba in the face, causing his mouth to bleed. Nobody cares because it’s a Villa player on a Utd player and Villa aren’t a threat to anyone.

But you’re right other than they were both very similar incidents officiated by the same Referee who for whatever reason didn’t refer to the pitch side monitor on both occasions there’s no point in talking about the Arsenal penalty it’s been it’s gone and it’s all over just as this time next week so will the United penalty discussions be.

Amongst all the penalty hysteria, that’s a big win for Spurs today. Bielsa would frustrate me so much if he managed my club. Entertaining, yes, but frustrating in equal measure. You never know with him if you’re going to hammer someone 5-0 or get hammered 5-0.

It’s probably fair to say it’s more noticeable towards opposition fans on the late goals and Penos. I was chatting to my workmate who’s a Pool fan like me and admitted we had a degree of luck on our quest last season;
– Take Gini’s deflection at Bramall Lane
– Mane last minute Pen versus Leicester at Anfield – Milner slotting home
– Robertson and Mane at Villa Park when we were 1 nil down.We embraced it. I’m sure opposition fans thought the opposite, but that’s perfectly fine and normal as we have different sets of team supporters with their own agendas.
One thing I would say is Fernandez is one of the Best United Signings I’ve seen in recent times. He is Likeable 🙂 🙂

I agree 442. Sooner Pogba goes the better. He was pretty good yesterday though, in fairness. On his day, he’s a brilliant player. Problem is that his day comes once or twice a season if you’re lucky.
Irritates me that Ole hasn’t completely frozen him out as we all know Ferguson would have.
Pogba out, Grealish in would be a perfect bit of business. Which rules it out, then 😁

Ed… I think my tongue in cheek point is that Keane would have probably ended Pogba’s playing career on the training field. Ferguson would have sent him to train with the youth team… his agent strung up from the first lamp post in the players car park.

I do find it a little rich coming from united fans complain about treatment players get… Hence the mean point. Van Nistlerooy was pure filth every 90 minute. Keane Ince Hughes all beat defenders into submission… All teams have them..

I am officially on strike for an unknown period of time, I refuse to watch any more games untill they stop with these token penalties and biased decisions. It’s footballs loss but it’s something I have to do for the good of mankind. It may not help but at least I can rest assured I have done my part.
