I will not be at the match to nigh but hope he scores. 8 wonderful years, apart from the agent spat and birthday cakes. He has been a huge success and wonderful footballer. It has been one of the sights to behold of Yaya roaming around midfield then puts one of his charges on. Good luck Yaya, you will always make my team of “greats”

But he’s certainly been great for your mob, that’s for sure.

9th May 2018 at 5:07 pm #21482Been a great player for City and it will be interesting to see where he goes next, considering he seems keen to remain in the PL. With all his experience, I’d do everything I could to pick him up on a free if I was managing anyone from Arsenal down. I’m not sure he’s got the legs to play at a higher level anymore.

9th May 2018 at 5:25 pm #21484Great player and a great servant for City. he was the best in the division until 2014/15 season when he has started to show signs of decline. and he was very much heart beat of the City City team that has won the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons titles. not to forget the winner he has scored against United in 2011 FA Cup semis which gave City players the belief to go for the title the following season.

9th May 2018 at 5:33 pm #21485Great player for City be interesting to see where he pops up now and how much he still has to offer whoever signs him.
Β£200k per week allegedly and he’s prepared to pay half of it back if he’s not good enough.

Oh dear another cake episode! Seems hell bent on ruining his legacy at City. Such a needy person, says some crazy stuff in this article.

5th June 2018 at 8:51 am #22595Yaya is a tool. It’s as simple as that. I’m far from a fan of Guardiola, but I really don’t think he’s got a problem with Africans. Didn’t he buy Keita at Barcelona? He was a first choice midfielder for several seasons. And he’s from Mali. I don’t think he had problems with Eto’o either. I think he bought Benatia from Morocco to Bayern as well.
And Yaya comparing himself to real legends like Iniesta and Buffon? How full of yourself can you be?

5th June 2018 at 4:14 pm #22617I have to modify my original post because I now have lost any respect I had from him playing the Race card against Pep. This is out of order to our Manager and to City F.C who have looked after him, even to the extent of paying his wages for a year when he knew he had little chance of playing at the pace of the team I am sorry he sees the Manager in this light and he may well ponder, with his agent the real reasons why he did not play as much. He will not find another club so generous with his requirements
