Firstly this was Hull stripped of a number of their players.
But Chelsea played some scintillating football especially in the first half Willian was outstanding Giroud scored a lovely goal and holds the ball up and brings others into play so well and Hudson Odoi played the whole of the second half and demonstrated his great potential and Fabregas played this game with a sand wedge chipping lovely little balls all over the pitch.
But Ampadu at 17 looks some player he and Christensen at the heart of the Chelsea defnced could play together for years . This boy is classy and wouldn’t look out of place starting against Barca.
We’ll done to Willie too great No 2 to have.
So pleased for Conte he’s been through some s**t over the last few weeks wth even some of his own fans turning on him but once again the match going fans told him how much they think of him.
And suddenly through all of the dark clouds and the rumblings of thunder a little ray of sunlight breaks through.
At least until Tuesday night!?

17th February 2018 at 12:10 pm #15824Sorry HH a little bit of leg pulling on my part. ?. Jeeze that poor girl Elise Cristie has crashed out again. You wouldnt bet on her to win anything would you? She crashes or get disqualified at every event. Anyway at least we are good at sledging.

17th February 2018 at 1:11 pm #15827Although I think Klopp could do with winning a trophy and winning the FA Cup would have been a good start I think it’s to Liverpool’s advantage not to be in the FA Cup firstly they are more than likely to be the only PL team still left in the CL without FA Cup commitments ( barring any shocks) and secondly it takes out the potential of additional tough games in the FA Cup which is very likely given the teams still left in the competition (subject to results over the weekend.)
SoLiverpool can concentrate on finishing as high as they possibly can in the PL and going as far as they possibly can in the CL.
It may not have seemed like it at the time of West Brom eliminating Liverpool from the FA Cup at Anfield but every cloud has a silver lining.

17th February 2018 at 6:22 pm #15843YooUtd playing 2nd fiddle to the Terriers here, even if YooUtd have just had two goals disallowed for Offside (got to say the 1st of those looked on to me..but as it’s YooUtd I’ll go along with the VAR-man!). Terriers have a lot of joy down the left-hand side, Shaw/Sanchez are both looking very average indeed this 1st half.

17th February 2018 at 6:25 pm #15844Bizarre to chalk that first one off. The lines used in the VAR looked like they’d been drawn by a kid and were way off. 2-0 would have flattered us, to say the least, but still very strange decision. Need a stronger second half

17th February 2018 at 6:26 pm #15845Well, nice to see VAR in action, what a farce, how that can be clear and obvious is beyond me.
As for the lines, looked like they were drawn on by a 3 year old, we’ve seen the future and it’s not good…Pagan

17th February 2018 at 6:28 pm #15846All credit to Huddersfield for an energetic display. They’ve pressed Utd really well. Good to see McTominay get some more minutes. Like the look of him

17th February 2018 at 6:43 pm #15848I find it incredible that the VAR people released that picture, it looked the Jason Lee goals from the fantasy football league show…. Pagan

17th February 2018 at 6:47 pm #15849Very harsh on United ruling out that goal I thought the benefit of doubt went to the attacker. Reflects very badly on VAR. Won’t make any difference to the result though 2 nil United.

17th February 2018 at 7:14 pm #15852So having seen the sky pictures again, where exactly was the clear and obvious mistake? The guidance is give the benefit of the doubt to the attacking team, that goal should have stood….Pagan

17th February 2018 at 8:03 pm #15854AnonymousTo draw lines on the pitch that don’t even match the 18 yard line was ridiculous, but to then curve it around Mata so he looked offside just made it more laughable.
VAR is only in test mode, but that can’t be allowed to continue.

17th February 2018 at 8:08 pm #15855It’s not really a test mode if it’s being used to make decisions, it’s also unfair if it’s not used across the whole competition.
I think today has shown it to be not fit for purpose…..Pagan

17th February 2018 at 8:51 pm #15859I don’t understand why the VAR doesn’t look as anywhere good as what us wombles get at home… can’t those buggers in the box somewhere just watch the SKY feed?

17th February 2018 at 8:52 pm #15860That draw looks suspicious, the biggest “supposed” four teams left being kept apart for the semi’s?
