Difficult one Sean. We were totally outclassed by PSG and Liverpool have have been easily as good as PSG this season. If we play like we did against Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea, I fancy us but it’s a tough one to call

18th February 2019 at 9:29 pm #33805Cheers Ed I was as impressed with United as I was disappointed with Chelsea we huffed and puffed but never really troubled United. United wanted it more than Chelsea.
Let’s hope City and United avoid each other in the draw and both end up in the Final.

18th February 2019 at 9:33 pm #33808Mikus do you genuinely think we will turn up ?
How many times have we gone there and just froze. So so many times,
Utd are to us like we are to Everton. I think utd will win

18th February 2019 at 9:34 pm #33810Nine, I’d usually support a manager who is only in the job 6 months but sari isn’t changing anything
He is so predictable. His subs are like for like every time , no change in formations etc.

18th February 2019 at 9:41 pm #33816Well apart from City, that’s the hardest draw we could have got. City get probably the easiest draw they could have got again! ?

18th February 2019 at 10:11 pm #33818Sean I think both sides will turn up. Klopp generally had a poor record vs Mourinho and Mourinho often stifled him successsfully. I think both sides will go for it, so anything could happen.

18th February 2019 at 10:24 pm #33819Perfect tactics by Ole imo very strong defensively and lightning quick on the break and they are missing both Lingard and Martial. I’m sure United will get a top 4 place from here.

18th February 2019 at 10:33 pm #33820I sort of get where Sean is coming from based on a trend from the past.
The big thing for me is everybody pulling together. The way we are layed out on the pitch too so that everyone is within close proximity and nobody in isolation (like Salah). Nobody should be kept quiet or be bossed, that’s the key along with how we deal with the OT crowd and the intensity.
United cast-iron guarantee will come out of the blocks for the first 20 mins, and will throw everything in when it comes to injury time, so Allison Becker has to have his best game along with the defence and midfield. Nobody can afford to fall asleep or daydream.

18th February 2019 at 10:35 pm #33821No surprise Jorginho and Saari being slated on the phones tonight. Hope they don’t start improving at the point of facing us at Anfield!

18th February 2019 at 11:06 pm #33822Nil, and rightly so but playing Liverpool in April is a long way off and I would be surprised if Sarri is still Manager by then.

18th February 2019 at 11:09 pm #33823United v Liverpool will be a proper game on Sunday if someone twisted my arm I would say it will most likely be a draw which won’t be a bad result for Liverpool providing City don’t go and win there.
