FA Cup Weekend

So, it’s FA Cup weekend, with it realisticly being the only chance of silverware for a few teams. Expecting a strong side sent out by the Foxes, as for the other “Big-Dogs”, who really knows?

After the pretty decent run of results my boys have had, and most likely a “weakened” team sent out by Poncho, half-expecting a slip-up by my boys, but hopefully a good chance to see what this Lucas chap is all about. Should have enough for Rochdale, but it sounds like their pitch could be a good leveler (unlike the pitch!).

Hightown, whilst I think Klopp could do with winning a trophy I think getting knocked out by West Brom might do Liverpool a favour in the PL in getting the highest position possible 10 days off pre the United game can’t do them any harm especially when everything is so tight from 2nd to 5th.

999 – We won’t be getting 10 days before the Utd game, we play Porto at home on the Tuesday night before it, though my guess is that Klopp will rest a few players that night!

As for this weekend, I agree it’s probably not a bad thing for the squad not to be playing this weekend, but as  a fan, it’s hard not to see the other games with just a tinge of jealousy, and trips to Wembley are good fun!
