I think Pep could have been a bit smarter when leading the teams out for an FA Cup Final and when he’s going to be presented to Prince William.

18th May 2019 at 5:02 pm #41148Jesus for Aguero is a suprise. But Aguero, Sane and De Bruyne potentially coming off the bench is a frightening prospect.

18th May 2019 at 7:57 pm #41153Congrats to the City lads especially Brian, gjblues and Big Jim. Come back soon guys.
That’s the way to win a unique treble.
Magnificent!
City have been a joy to watch this season. You wonder how much difference De Bruyne might have made to City this Season had he remained fit.
A word for Watford who gave it their all but when they went 2 nil down they came out to try and get back in the game and then the spaces opened up and if you give this City team space they punish you.

18th May 2019 at 7:59 pm #41154Steveo,
on face value great and kind sentiments. The evening now seems a lot brighter with Weather in our neck of the Woods. Cup Finals of mood and the whole ‘aura’ of it is changing away from what I was growing up to.
Unless you are living locally to the Team that’s involved, nobody else really seems to take any great interest.
It’s a fantastic display once again and a Unique Footballing Achievement.
However for those points highlighted on behaviour towards Liverpool and the way they seem to be enjoying the freedom of finance, a lot of the seasoned Football Followers won’t be able to just dismiss all this out of their minds.
The club too is a Manchester one and we have decades of a certain Red part of Manchester Dominating and Winning everything every-time so no doubt, this particular thought too will be active in their minds of certain Football Supporters.

18th May 2019 at 8:09 pm #41159City’s win also puts Wolves into the Europa League in the 2nd qualifying stage.
So well done to Wolves they’ve had a great first season back in the PL.

18th May 2019 at 8:11 pm #41160From our POV, we finally after a long time get a Wembley meeting in August for the old school ‘Charity Shield’. Can Jurgen please turn up in a Nice Suit! π π

18th May 2019 at 8:57 pm #41163Great win.
You know for a long, long, long time I wasnt nervous before the game.
What I liked most of all was there was no letting up.
Also what a top player KDB is.Looking forward to the two European finals and may the best teams win.
Hope you all enjoy the experiences. On a bright note for Utd fans their financial results for the 3rd quarter are out. Profit for the 9 months Β£41m…..just enough for Sanchez and Pogba wages!!!! Downside is net debt still at an enormoussssss Β£301m. Better than last equivalent 9 months which had a loss of Β£3m.

19th May 2019 at 8:01 am #41172Football is nearly finished as far as this season Calendar goes.
I see Celtic involved in next Weekend’s Scottish Cup Final. I’m not sure if this in the minds of anybody else out there, but I actually find it quite depressing the same type of teams involved and winning every other competition out there.
I actually am glad there’s other teams involved as far as both Europe Final go and no Man City. Don’t like TOTAL DOMINANCE at all.

19th May 2019 at 8:34 am #41174New balance. Even though we have won all four English trophies this may never happen again.
Who knows what might have happened in the CL if the semi had gone our way. It seems the nature of football worldwide.
Bayern win SEVENTH successive title in what is supposed to be a competetive league.
PSG will dominate La Ligue
Real and Barca dominate
Juventus in Italy
Celtic in Scotland previously RangersUnited dominated under Ferguson
Liverpool under Shankly,Paisley etc.Would we like it to be different? Only if the dominant team is not ours I think!

19th May 2019 at 11:33 am #41180To add … it could be said Liverpool being in two consecutive cl finals is boring ?
Itβs all about perspective
Liverpool did for too long then United did, Chelsea did … Arsenal didnβt but still had 5 years of success …
One team will always dominate in an era fir mostly the sake reason
All I can say is this city team and the way the play football is a joy to watch unlike United in their dominance bar a couple of golden years of football
If a team is going to dominate then you at least want breath taking football and close battles which we have had thanks to pool … also playing sublime football.. hence I hope they win the cl
Even tho it would be 6 times, not my team and show dominance of one team ???_____________________________
