Not the greatest game until the goal when it opened up a little. Chelsea had the style Leicester had the grit. I guess Chelsea will sharpen up for City now!!! I thought the Leicester No 4 was the MotM by far

Another big game against Leicester coming up for Chelsea with Liverpool now hot on their heels. Chelsea won’t want to head into the CL final knowing a win is the only way to play in the competition again next season.

Surprised no one has mentioned Schmeichels save from Mount near the end. Truly outstanding save! Indeed at the same level as the goal from Tielemans. 2 outstanding moments in what was a pretty drab 90 minutes in all honesty, but pleased for Leicester and Rodgers

Chilwell for Alonso and including Giroud from the start I assume Moos. I would have preferred Kovacic for Jorginho however think he may not have been ready. Back in training though which is promising. Maybe we see him Tuesday night and he will make a difference for sure.

I tend to agree why would you select 3 oldish, slowish defenders against one of the fastest counter attacking teams in the world. Also I can’t wait to see the back of Jorginho, that guys play grates the hell out of me and saying that I am a big supporter of Italy but definitely not Jorginho. Werner also had another nightmare. We could have won this final easily with a few changes but at least it’s Leicester that won it first time ever and not one of the usual suspects so thats a slight consideration.

Had a feeling we wouldn’t this one again and of course when we saw the team those feelings were confirmed, not the end of the world but problem now is Chelsea have to win their last 2 games to end up in the top 4 as in all honesty I cannot see them beating City 3 games in succession, we in a very tight spot.

It was one of the best saves in a cup final. I think having the fans back played its part and that perhaps was more influential for Leicester once they had their noses in front.
The game could have turned on it’s head had Mount equalized and/or Chilwell’s effort had been allowed.
It’s one of those finals where effectively, everything went Leicester’s way and credit to them.
