Congrats Chelsea lads. You wanted it more and as a result will go through. I was annoyed with the players last week and people thought I shouldn’t be. Well it’s more of the same but Im also annoyed with Klopp, who has decided to not make a full effort to win this cup. I didnt mind in seasons gone but there’s no excuse to not go for this game at least.
people won’t be happy about this because being critical of our team somehow seems to deeply wound them and I hope people arent and they accept my position on it. We threw the last game away and we’ve tossed the FA Cup away also. The Cl is probably next now TBH. Go on, convince me that we’ll beat Madrid.

But that’s the thing Aussie, people were over hyping this team. Calling it one of the greats by Christmas ffs.
Amazing teams are utds treble team, ciry domestic treble team, arsenal invincibles, Jose’s 1st two seasons at Chelsea
We have done none of that.
It’s just people getting carried away with the hype. Consistently win big trophies for a few seasons before getting the accolade of an amazing team
Excellent team but not amazing like some of the great pl sides
All that matters is the pl. nothing else but let’s not go overboard about the team

Liverpool will bounce back they’re too good not to they’ll beat Bournemouth at the weekend for sure but whilst I still think they’ll come through v Atletico I think it could be a battle though.

As you know Sean I’ve never got carried away & this season is no exception. There’s no doubt we’ve been just scraping by in recent times & were lucky to get a couple of wins but this blip has been coming.
As for best teams ever, that’s just comical. 1 C/L in the last 15 years doesn’t elevate a team to that status, there’s a lot more trophies to even go close to that. We’ve had an amazing season & at times looked brilliant but I get the feeling the wheels are falling off & we will limp towards seasons end. I won’t be overly excited until that titles out of reach for everyone else & we can celebrate knowing we’ve finally got that EPL monkey off our backs._____________________________
