3 to the power of 3, if you mean the size of the club and it’s standing in world football that’s a no.
Could we be at a level to play them and win yes I do ,we did that last season.
I even find it hard to compare Spurs with City, Utd, Liverpool , Chelsea and Arsenal, when you look at purely finance and the ability to buy players that cost £50m+ we should be firmly bottom of that mini league.
Don’t quote me but I think I heard today that our 5 year net spend was £25m, we have a truly amazing new training ground, a £!b ( blame Baldy ) new ground which is staggering and we have been in or around the CL places for a few years. Spurs first X! is good but with the financial restraints we have had to bring through young players which I admire, but only if they are good enough. I watch every Spurs game and recently our bench has been not of a top 6 club standard.
Spurs have to stay in the top 4 to get a CL spot, how else when the purse strings loosen, will we attract the quality of player we need ? If we had won the FA Cup this year I would have been delirious but would winning the FA Cup convince a £75m Moussa Dembele replacement to come to WHL
After 2 seasons without a home we are sat in 3rd ,we could have started Winks, Erikssen and Toby but just say 1 or 2 of them got injured to add to what we already have on the treatment table, we would then struggle to get a Europa place.
I am sorry if this doesn’t make sense 27 but I’m full of OxyContin & OxyNorm and concentrating is tricky at best cheers mate._____________________________

29th January 2019 at 6:39 pm #32386Good post TBA very difficult for any PL Club to get to the same level as Real Madrid but all of the top PL could beat them in a one off game even potentially over two legs especially this current Real team.
On the positive side for Spurs it’s a great Stadium and it will be up and running soon on the negative side can players like Eriksen being persuaded to stay and you’ve got to pay for it.
Ultimately all players want something to show from their careers other than just lots of money and how long will Spurs top players hang around without winning anything?
Equally how much can Spurs afford to spend with the Stadium to pay for in order to try and keep up with the likes of City and Liverpool and probably a rejuvenated United.
Still it’s only a game and there are much more important things in life . Take care buddie. Cheers 999
