A break away from the Premier League and Cup Football with a few good ties or so to look forward to.
Excluding Manchester United v Liverpool π

22nd January 2021 at 3:14 pm #174152On a ‘sticky’ pitch, against committed opposition and Wolves confidence low, anything can happen.
The greater quality should prevail but you just never know.
C’mon the Magpies (Chorley)._____________________________

22nd January 2021 at 4:39 pm #174158There are those that say the FA Cup is worthless or a waste of fixture time but I love it. Liverpool v Utd is good but it is the Chorley v Wolves and Cheltenham v City all eyes will be on. a great advertisement for the small clubs , but theywILL HAVE brave hearts and anything can happen. The FA Cup on the scale we have is unequalled in any country, it is an intrinsic part of our football heritage

22nd January 2021 at 6:34 pm #174165Completely agree with that Brian.
Nil good to see you back and taking it in your stride.
Remember “football’s a funny old game.” Stranger things have happened than Liverpool winning at OT in the FA Cup and turning their season around.
It’s no fun being a Chelsea fan currently either but that’s what makes the highs even more enjoyable.π

22nd January 2021 at 8:20 pm #174169Nine, hope you’re Good Mate and Appreciated π
I saw Frank Lampard’s Press Conference earlier. He took control, but I don’t think he was liking it. Modern Life.
Nine it all existed down the years, but the difference now is that there’s just overwhelming Mediums of Platforms that now entered the heads of the Club Managers.
It seems now effectively for everyone out there in an instance of a poor results, it’s as if these Managers are Trial. I don’t feel the Attitude and the Conduct of it all is Justified.
Hey Ho, Another day in Living Experience.
Cheers π

22nd January 2021 at 8:46 pm #174171Done ok so far. Clearly out-possessed but limited Wolves to zero clear openings. In fact Chorley had more attempts on goal and created the best opportunity, first couple of minutes bringing off a decent stop by Ruddy. While it’s only 1-0 there’s still a chance.

23rd January 2021 at 1:16 pm #174176Chelsea desperately need a win on Sunday v Luton. Because of that I expect a very strong team even with Wolves at home to come on Wednesday.
Frank Lampard has thanked Chelsea fans for the support they have shown in him after they crowd funded to get a banner supporting the boss made.
Chelsea fans raised funds to create a banner which reads βIn Frank We Trust β Then. Now. Forever.β
It has been hung up behind the goal at the Shed End of Stamford Bridge.
Bit of a fillip for Frank to know the match day fans are still fully behind him.

23rd January 2021 at 1:21 pm #174177Similarly to my post above I expect Klopp to field a really strong Liverpool team v United to try and turn their current results around.
I certainly wouldn’t discount a Liverpool win at OT ” great” teams which Liverpool definitely are don’t become poor teams overnight.

23rd January 2021 at 1:32 pm #174179Nil, I missed the Lampard press conference just caught up with it unfortunately when the media smell blood they are like a pack of hungry Wolves whoever the Manager is.
Good on Frank imo for coming back at them a bit feisty.π

23rd January 2021 at 1:45 pm #174181The media do not understand the words patience, transitions, good points, they trade in doom and gloom. None of them could do the job they report on but consider themselves experts to comment on. Regretably some people actually believe them

23rd January 2021 at 3:25 pm #174182Bad news sells papers. Also notice the general news on TV, they revel in bad news.
Generally our managers have been very good with the media….they don’t say anything!Interested to see our team today. Expecting ten or eleven changes but a strong bench.

23rd January 2021 at 5:34 pm #174183Good comments Gents. Wholeheartedly agree. I have to say I’ve taken more of a liking to Frank in his straight-talking and standing up for himself.
The internet and Social Media just brings out the worst unfortunately in journalists. There’s far too many in the industry and they’re quick to accentuate any trace of negativity.

23rd January 2021 at 6:25 pm #174185Cheltenham to be fair to them have given a good account of themselves. They are trying to get their noses in front and have competed well. That defender has one throw on him to throw into the mixer π
