A lovely tie for the neutral to kick things off, would be quite happy for an entertaining 6-5, although I don’t really care who too, and a couple of punch-ups and lots of red cards…. again, don’t really care who too… 🙂
No real other “stand-out” ties, maybe the other “All-Prem” match on Sunday, which looking at both clubs form, could go either way…
But, then again, it’s cup football, hopefully an upset or two!

27th January 2023 at 5:31 pm #203315Looking forward to Tonight mate; Student Versus Teacher. Part of me on heart wants Pep to come out on top, but should that happen, that may psychologically impact the Title race and this year round I’d like a different Winner than Manchester City (except of course Manchester United).

27th January 2023 at 8:10 pm #203317Good opening start from both teams. I’m liking Trossard already. He’s finding space and he’s not afraid to express his dribbling ability.
Both teams playing open football on the deck. Impressive.

27th January 2023 at 8:30 pm #203318I have to say regardless of the outcome there are two very good teams playing here, not surprisingly first and second in the league
For me Arsenal slightly better..just._____________________________

27th January 2023 at 8:53 pm #203322Adlab, @ 8:30 agree.
I put myself on the line in saying our league is the best league. Honestly.
0-0, but the way football should be played in my view.
I feel Arteta has grown to be Astute. Arsenal can and have defended in packs when need be, and individually, they are essentially switched on and read the game. Put our Liverpool defenders to shame.

27th January 2023 at 8:55 pm #203323Beginning to understand why Akanji has been featuring a little more this season than one would expect. Partly circumstantial, but Pep’s been trying to get him established and up to speed this season because of injuries to Diaz and LaPorte and naturally conscious in using his squad wisely.

27th January 2023 at 8:57 pm #203324Trossard dribbles in spacious areas rather than getting into a ‘cul-de-sac’. He doesn’t dribble for the sake of it and hog possession. He has close control and good at finding space and creating his own shooting opportunity.

28th January 2023 at 9:17 pm #203334Didn’t watch the game yesterday so I can’t Adlab. Don’t understand the offside rule at all any longer. No idea how our one in the first half was ruled out. Really odd one.

29th January 2023 at 10:07 am #203335Reminds me of a young Eric Cantona signing from Leeds. Casimiro looks so composed and assured.
