Firstly the Draw.
Watford or Tranmere Rovers v Wolverhampton Wanderers or Manchester United
Hull City v Chelsea
Southampton v Middlesbrough or Tottenham Hotspur
QPR v Sheffield Wednesday
Bournemouth v Arsenal
Northampton Town v Derby County
Brentford v Leicester City
Millwall v Sheffield United
Reading or Blackpool v Cardiff City or Carlisle United
West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion
Burnley v Norwich City
Bristol Rovers or Coventry City v Birmingham City
Manchester City v Fulham
Rochdale or Newcastle United v Oxford United
Portsmouth v Barnsley
Bristol City or Shrewsbury Town v LiverpoolTies to be played over the weekend of January 24-27.
Some interesting ties. A home draw imo is always preferable even if it’s v a top side.
Brilliant draw for Bristol City if they can beat Shrewsbury in the replay the “Gate” will be jumping if Liverpool come to town.

7th January 2020 at 11:42 am #57936To be honest I think it’s a rather dull draw, no real standout ties and no non-league minnows for everyone to get behind. The Liverpool game (whoever they get) and the Chelsea one maybe the only chance of a big giant killing as the Premier teams are away but that’s about it.

8th January 2020 at 10:25 am #58012ah Sean, maybe i dont know the history, the only history ive seen on here is other fans bemoaning the draw city have had in every cup competetion for a few years now and even saying its a fix….
you dont bother me in the slightest mate, and neither to liverpool supporters aother when nil or mak go off on one!
if i took the comment wrong so be it im big enough to admit it, i can only read and post as i see it matey
tho it seems any comment of mine that is directed towrds the mighty liverpool in any way shape or form causes the same? i guess its all a matter of perspective and how things are read, as you say its only a forum, and one of the points i was making is that of all the teams left the top 2 are you and city so any draw either get is frankly easy for both teams
no biggy, sorry if i caused offence and ruined your jest

8th January 2020 at 10:56 am #58017Not an easy draw for Liverpool by the way the mighty Robins(providing they beat the mighty Shrews) could test them if Klopp were to field a scratch side. π

15th January 2020 at 7:36 am #60587So Liverpool travel to Shrewsbury. Hard luck Nine, know you were keen for Bristol City to get through. Still that’s a dream tie now for The Shrews.

15th January 2020 at 8:27 am #60588threeps, yes a very disappointing result for the Robins on top of a number of very disappointing results lately especially considering the first game was at home and City were leading.
It’s a big disappointment for the City of Bristol and the area as well as all the Bristol City supporters who were hoping they would get the chance to see Liverpool at Ashton Gate but the best of luck to Shrewsbury I think they’ll need it just as City would have.
For Liverpool it’s perfect, closer to travel and a third tier team rather than a Championship team.
