Out possessed and out shot by a Championship side at home was a reminder to Arteta of the task he has but to his and Arsenal’s credit they turned it around in the second half but how Leeds must rue the chances they spurned in the first half.

Lacazette was fortunate not to get a red card though.

well, hell of game, Leeds were fantastic in the first half and could and should have had it sown up
referee was poor, Xhaka was a walking foul and got no cards, Laca kicked out and could have seen red, game of two halves, what i did like after was the change in the second half both tactically and in effort, Arteta spoke well after the game and you could tell he wasnt happy and glad to hear the arsenal players say he shouted at them, seemed to work

long way to go but a month ago we would have lost that….small steps

Spot on Stevo and the big plus from last night’s game for Arsenal was the reaction Arteta got from the players in the 2nd half which bodes well for the future.

yes that was the big thing, the first half i was thinkng “here we go again” but the half time CHANGED things and that has happened before this season…nice to have a manager get the hair dryer out when needed and get the response form the players

Last nights game.
Lacasette should have had a red card. No question. On balance, Leeds will be disappointed. They should have done better with their chances.

Tonights game. Interesting to see what teams are put out. I hope we see sense and play our strongest team to include Ederson. I dont think Aguero is fit though…pity.

United v Wolves is harder to call and it’s a game they could do without with Liverpool away on Sunday but I think United will squeeze through ahead of the Anfield game.
