9th January 2022 at 4:04 pm #193157Thought Bowen was offside and interfering with play for West Ham’s first goal.

9th January 2022 at 4:13 pm #193159Agree with that, and wait until you see the “handball” that wasn’t given… VAR gave itself a good account of why we shouldn’t bother with it today!

9th January 2022 at 5:16 pm #193166As it’s for a very good cause (credit due where credit is due!), I’ll let it go about it being bad enough the Nomads squatting in our part of London, they now have to nick our shirts too…
Still want Forest to win though, good cause or not…

9th January 2022 at 5:34 pm #193170Dunno how good that Forest goalie at being a goalie, but he’s pretty decent at spraying the ball about…

9th January 2022 at 5:46 pm #193171Chuck all the keepers today think they Beckenbaurs that’s why they make so many mistakes. By the way I don’t think Bowen not being in that position would have made any difference. That’s another very loose rule that needs better explanations

9th January 2022 at 5:56 pm #193172Fair do’s, Rover, but he’s passing range seems very good to me…
As for Bowen, the chain of events would have remained the same as he didn’t actually touch either the players or the ball… but I reckon running past the goalie like that, with his boots whizzing past about 3 inches from the goalies face certainly would have given the goalie something to think about and therefore “affecting” play…

9th January 2022 at 7:28 pm #193176The Upset is only exciting for the neutral fans of the game, but the team supporter on the wrong end of the defeat lives with that disappointing feeling.
Great triumph for Forest who need to believe in themselves more.
