I thought Benzema had another season Lucky? Maybe not. He’d want a monster contract and probably a couple of years. At 35, it’s not something I’d like us to do. Been there, done that with Ronaldo, Cavani etc. But yeah Real and Bayern will probably both be looking at Kane. A decent bid may get him in the summer to save him leaving for free. I’d 100% sell Rashford this summer coming if he doesn’t extend. Could see this all happening:

Mbappe to Real
Rashford to PSG
Kane to Bayern

I have noted a direct correlation between young players who barely “made it” suddenly appearing on loads of tv adverts and lynx adverts in particular….

Saw a tifo video yesterday about the rebuild required at real in summer ed and they said benzema along with Kroos and modric are out of contract.

I would rather we invest in younger players too but he is a hell of a striker still, head and shoulders above likes of cavani and defo aubameyang, Maybe ronaldo at this point in their careers too.

Pretty happy with the Ginger Ninja and Bentancur… and they came from Italy… at the end of the day, all transfers from overseas are a bit of a gamble, we’ve seen plenty that worked along with plenty that haven’t… 🙂

As for Kane, who bloody knows?? I think if Conte stays he will stay, and if Conte buggers off, he’ll want to bugger off too!!

But I just don’t think Danny will sell him though, we could very well end up with a grumpy Kane.

Kane contract finishes in June 2024 if he’s not signed a new contract by then it will be a nervous time for Spurs.

I’d actually argue several of those players are better suited in those positions. Elliot I think is better further up the pitch. Bajectic at least deserves a go in midfield again.

Decent first half and good to be in front. Lots of changes understandably made and to be fair, the guys on the pitch really have put in the hard yards. Let’s hope we see the tie through and don’t concede.

I think the quality will come for Bajcetic as he gets older but you can see already how good his positional play is.

Team looks more balanced tonight with no big gaps appearing.

Key observation 3p’s about gaps as players have been positioned closer so that they are able to pick easy passes and support each when there’s challenges/tackles etc made from the opposition.

Most solid we have looked in a longtime. Interesting to see how many tackles bajetic and thisgo won. We managed the game well
