My guess is Alfie you came on the thread to get a reaction and you got a little banter back. No harm in that but best we leave it there. Cheers Jim.

20th February 2018 at 8:29 pm #16094AnonymousIn all fairness Brian, how many pitch invasions have there been without the offending club being charged? Bristol City had one recently, if I recall!
Also, when did two wrongs make a right? Can any player now punch a fan simply if they run onto the pitch – as that seems to be what the FA are saying.
Itโs the typical, spineless FA when it comes to City.

20th February 2018 at 8:31 pm #16097AnonymousDonโt try and blame others for your actions, Jim.
Pointing out that Augero has now punched a fan and not faced punishment for doing so, despite the ridiculous claims that Gill has turned referees against City this year, seems fair comment.

20th February 2018 at 8:47 pm #16109Beni. Shouldn’t have bitten, but old habits die hard?. Had plenty of stick off the LPool and United Fan who work for us today which is fair enough, that’s the name of the game! ?ย Annoyingly you can’t see whether someone is annoyed or it’s just banter with text. But all is good. Sure last night was a disappointment but you have to put things in context as a City fan. These are times I truly never thought I would see. Cheers Jim thankfully we dont have any Wigan fans?

20th February 2018 at 8:59 pm #16110Be glad of small mercies – I worked with a few pie eaters years ago when they had a better side. ย They made me like United fans. ย Unbearable

20th February 2018 at 9:47 pm #16116Jim, Alfie’s a decent red.
You’ve just got to let ’em have their day in the sun (whenever City lose), coz they know as well as us that those days in the sun are extremely few and far between.
Only TWO meaningful defeats in all comps this season – they’re going to make the most of it – it’s like Christmas to kids for ’em – bless.

20th February 2018 at 9:57 pm #16117AnonymousAre you City fans for real? No one is allowed to mention a top PL footballer punching a fan these days!? Lol!

20th February 2018 at 10:19 pm #16120Was at the match last night and the Delph tackle was too far away to make any judgement. Watched the game again tonight and fair enough, in the current climate it was probably a red.
Having said that, the thing that riles me is the total lack of consistency in refereeing decisions. The number of ‘tackles’ on our players this season that were given yellows and should (no could about it) have been reds is staggering.
Reffing standards in the PL has declined dramatically – it’s no wonder none of them are going to the World Cup.

21st February 2018 at 7:56 am #16130Alfie..
Concentrate on your own boring, anti football team. Please.
Your comments are not worthy.
I comment about your team on here but not on your page.
If I was Aguero and City I would sue Wigan. City will probably leave it in the end.
Conspiracies? Who knows. Look at those upright politicians until they are outed. Appointing a referee whose family supports United for a City game (check if you like).
Gill. Nothing more needs saying about his conflicts of interest.
Lets hope you have a great night in Seville.

21st February 2018 at 8:25 am #16131AnonymousThere are no individual pages. That has been made clear by the ed.
What are Gills conflicts of interest?

21st February 2018 at 8:39 am #16134AnonymousI know I should fall for his nonsense, but it can’t be helped at times. There’s only so many times you can try to explain that Gill left his role at the FA to the same person, without them grasping that point, before deciding to give up!
The fact that neither City, Aguero or Pep were charged for their appalling behaviour – which other teams would have been charged for, seems to underline the ridiculousness of the claim that there is a conspiracy against City.
I didn’t think it was a hard thing to grasp, tbh. Won’t mention it again. ๐

21st February 2018 at 9:06 am #16135Alfie, I would say that due to footballโs incestuous nature, the vast majority of those in a position of power have some allegiance to one or another club, however itโs not just one person calling the shots which should minimise the chance of bias being involved. Obviously Gill has a connection with Manchester United, and this will always get thrown at him, but you would think his professionalism would negate this….Pagan

21st February 2018 at 9:13 am #16136AnonymousAnd the fact that he left his FA role last year!
And the fact that he would have no direct access to the referees, and it would require all of the elite referees to have no morals or integrity and be open to doing over one team, and then covering it up. All without one referee thinking that it was wrong and leaking it to the press.
