20th February 2018 at 8:44 am #16015We’ll said Brian 4 was always an impossible dream. I thought Arsenal might cause an upset on Sunday but City will be well up for that one now.
The two to focus on were always the title and the CL and the title is all but wrapped up and City are favourites for the CL.
I wouldn’t bet against a big City double even a treble if we include the League Cup Final on Sunday. Best of luck your lads have been a joy to watch.

20th February 2018 at 8:56 am #16019Last nights match was a great advert for cup football, it shows what passion, desire and hard work can achieve. My youngest’s team won through to the County Cup final on Sunday, and all being well will get into the League cup final as well, the draw in both competitions has been kind to us, but in both finals they will be up against academy teams. It’s results like this that show what a grass roots team, that doesn’t turn anyone away, that doesn’t hold trials can achieve against teams at the other end to the spectrum….Pagan

20th February 2018 at 9:15 am #16020Anonymousso it is reported that a wigan fan spat at aguero after taunting him. to be honest the behaviour of the wigan fans after the game was an absolute disgrace. bunch of chavs.

20th February 2018 at 12:32 pm #16042AnonymousI reckon its the curse of the quad. Whenever a side is mentioned in the same sentence as winning four trophies, they perish.
Not even spending nearly a billion quid can Pep rectify the Curse of the quad.

20th February 2018 at 2:18 pm #16053It`s very difficult to win the quadruple these days,if not mission impossible.

20th February 2018 at 2:52 pm #16056Adlab….lets be honest about this Delph got what he deserved…it was a stupid and unessary tackle. I do agree about the Wigan players though, they were disgraceful and this sort of incident should be stopped for all time, Only the Captain should discuss with REF Players kept well away…or else booked

20th February 2018 at 2:52 pm #16057There have been a few triples but don’t think anyone has won a quadruple in the same season

20th February 2018 at 3:01 pm #16061Even Guardiola accepted it was a red card in his press conference.

20th February 2018 at 3:36 pm #16064Looked a red card to me. Imagine the outcry if that tackle had been on a City player? He was off the ground and not even watching the ball as he had no clue where it had gone
plus, couldn’t see much difference in behaviour between the two sets of players

20th February 2018 at 6:50 pm #16072That’s interesting Beni. You thought that Delphs was a definite red card last night yet if i recall you thought Manes flying boot to the face of Ederson wasnt. Yet both were accidental ? Slightly odd. FWI I thought Delph got the ball last night and tried to pull out of the follow through, his high boot didnt make contact with the Wigan player. Unlike the wigan lad earlier in the game who clearly left his boot deliberately high on Agueros knee after winning the ball and only getting yellow! But I accept he gave the Ref a decision to make and it was a reckless tackle and Alty Taylor couldn’t wait to overturn his original decision lol. But hey ho its all in the past. Doubt it would have made much difference anyway. We were shite last night. Wigan took their chance. We move on. As does the football. Personally I would like VAR to decide red card offences. But it wasn’t in use last night. Cheers Jim

20th February 2018 at 7:22 pm #16074AnonymousHow come agent Gill has decided not to charge Aguero? He is losing his touch.

20th February 2018 at 7:24 pm #16075AnonymousNot sure you can reasonably compare the Mane high boot with a lunging tackle from head on which goes through a player. Two completely different types of challenges for me.

20th February 2018 at 7:39 pm #16079Eh up Alfie you here again!? While your here what about earlier in the season when Lukaku kicked that Brighton Player Bong in the bollocks off the ball or should I say on the ball! Now that certainly wasn’t a red was it lol. Completely different tackle if you ask me.? ?

20th February 2018 at 7:52 pm #16084AnonymousAgent Gill got him off, as expected. Agent Gill must be on holiday at the moment though as he has missed Aguero striking a fan.

20th February 2018 at 8:02 pm #16086AnonymousNot sure Gill can ban a fan, even if it is shown he spat at Aguero – which is far from the present case.
Top four is going well, thanks for asking. Good to see a little bit of success hasn’t gone to City fans heads.

20th February 2018 at 8:14 pm #16090Gill would have known, to charge Augerro would have brought crowd control into the case in which case it would be bad news for Wigan for not controlling crowd and it is no use saying “it was a minority” who was counting then? best to let the incident pass but no fault should be put on Augerro
