To me it looks like Van Dijk tries to hold back. Lamela threw himself and made it look worse than it was.

My comments were in respect of the first half. But how wrong can I be!
Neither of the penalties, in my opinion, were penalties. Despite Spurs being the better team in the second half if I was a Liverpool supporter I would be really cross.
Also I think Klopp got his subs wrong. He needed to strenghten defensive midfiel.

It’s a tough call. There was definitly contact and it was in the penalty area, so no doubt it could be given. That being said football is a physical game, and they bloody touch each other all the time in the penalty area. I think it was obvious that VVD saw Lamela, tried to hold back to avoid kicking him, he touched him, and Lamela made the most of it.

But a draw suits me just fine!

Don’t worry Benny, it was the same doctor at hand (he must be based at Anfield, is he on a retainer?) who managed to undislocate both Salah’s shoulders he dislocated after Livermore tugged on his shirt the other week. It used to be a magic-sponge, but now it seems to be a bewitched-whistle that causes these miraculous recoveries…. 🙂
