Regardless of how poor your side has been performing or how badly the club has been run. What has been reported this afternoon is extremely shameful. Getting a female ceo in to a headlock and assaulting her.
Hope the person involved gets what is coming to him.

16th January 2023 at 9:53 am #203027Terrible things happening at Everton fans have a right to protest but Directors shouldn’t fear so much for their safety they can’t attend games or be attacked.
Frank is on shaky ground now it was always a bit mission impossible given all the problems surrounding the Club.

23rd January 2023 at 3:31 pm #203241Surprised it’s taken this long. Simply not cut out for management at this level

23rd January 2023 at 4:14 pm #203243Frank should never have gone there impossible job they sold their best player and then spent pennies after only just surviving relegation last season this was always going to happen. Short term Dyche is probably the best option they need someone in quickly and to bring a couple of players in in this window.

23rd January 2023 at 4:50 pm #203244I agree Ed, not cut out for a pl job. No style of play and constant tinkering with formations.
Everton need to get Duncan Ferguson back in around the club. I’d give him a go or dyche as nine says. Football won’t be pretty but he’s the best on offer at the minute

23rd January 2023 at 7:02 pm #203246Dyche favourite now actually with bielsa 2nd favourite… at least they have a clear idea of the type of coach they want!

23rd January 2023 at 10:40 pm #203259Shame Frank couldn’t have hung in a little longer, as surely his Chelsea connections could have benefitted Everton, from the new squad Chelsea are buying in the last 2 transfer windows?!

24th January 2023 at 9:21 am #203260Bielsa is another risky choice imo and he doesn’t speak English which will hamper him.
Dyche until the end of the season would be my choice if I was an Evertonian and Dyche would accept that.

24th January 2023 at 10:22 am #203261If I were Dyche I wouldn’t be answering my phone until Everton have appointed a new manager!
Bielsa is such a weird choice that part of me is thinking Everton are resigned to relegation and looking at bielsa’s job with Leeds in getting them back to prem?

24th January 2023 at 4:27 pm #203267Nine, it’s like a alcoholic blocking calls from his old drinking mate, he just knows if he picks up the phone and even considers it he won’t be able to resist! But it’s no good for him 😆
Genuinely don’t think anyone should touch Everton. They should have no option but to bring in big Duncan until end of season and get justly relegated. Then it’s a different job in the summer and both dyche and to be fair bielsa have proven ability to build teams capable of promotion to prem.
Whoever they bring in it has to be with the understanding that relegation is likely and that the new man will be trusted with bringing them back up if they do go down. If the new guy will just be made the fall guy for the relegation and be at risk of losing job nobody should go near it.

24th January 2023 at 5:07 pm #203269There’s half a season left and Everton are 2 points from safety. Don’t underestimate what kind of lift a good (and crucially a new) manager can have. There’s every chance Everton can get out of this. Look at what Villa have done since getting a good manager in. I think you’re giving Lampard far too much credit by suggesting that nobody can do any better. He’s one of the worst managers in their history by win %.

24th January 2023 at 5:28 pm #203270You’re ignoring the circumstances there Ed.😊
Everton almost got relegated last season they sold their best player didn’t replace him and spent pennies on the squad and they’ve been really poorly managed from the very top too in fact they’re a complete mess I’m not saying Frank was the right Manager he wasn’t and he shouldn’t have taken the role but even Pep would have struggled under those circumstances.

24th January 2023 at 5:31 pm #203271….can Everton still get out of it? I agree with you if they make the right appointment which is not Bielsa imo and get a couple of players in with the amount of games still left they’ve got a chance but it won’t be easy.
