Wow, PSG owner speaking out against the ESL has very much surprised me. I thought they’d have been all over this considering the poor league they play in. The PL clubs have much less to gain by risking their place in their domestic league. I thought this was almost made for the likes of PSG

Ed, I know there’s a lot of Sabre rattling but are the 6 really risking their places in the PL it’s not a “Premier” Leagud with out the 6 Clubs.

The TV deal will significantly reduce because the TV companies won’t pay what they’ve been paying for a significantly lesser product without those 6 Clubs.

Breaking news on SSN’s from today’s PL meeting is that the PL don’t want the 6 Clubs to leave the PL.

And why would they Turkey’s don’t vote for Christmas.😊

Like you Ed I can’t understand the PSG position as you say it’s a poor League and unlike the German Clubs they don’t have the significant fan shareholding which stopped the German Clubs being involved.

Nine, PSG..easy to understand…they are a big fish in a small pond and can keep there forever….they could have neighbours from Benelux countries to join them but they would still be the big fish. They see comfort, there is a French saying but my French is more than rusty at the moment!!

All these discussions going on in the background. Managers not told is just disgusting then they are thrown out to face the media?? No statements from the clubs just shows how cowardly they are.

I support this new concept but not all the way purely because they were a bit unwise as to the way they went about it. But I follow my club till death do us part or even if they make a pact with the devil himself which they most certainly have not done. Far from that.

I think there’s been a couple of ringleaders in all this, and then several other clubs felt they had to follow suit. It all resembles a school playground “come and be in our gang” situation with clubs joining because they were worried about being left behind. It almost reminds me of the Goodfellas scene where Henry is worried about the net closing in and all the talk in newspapers to be told by Jimmy & Tommy “don’t worry about it, everything is beautiful.” And you already sense a few of the wheels are starting to come off.

Chelsea fans making this it point but as klopp was trying to say to our fans last night with regards moving flags etc from anfield, it’s not the team causing this
