exactly why i was so nervous, if we dont turn up and destroy a team (rare these days) the we will huff and puff and then implode

id spend all of our now even more limited transfer budget on GOOD defenders

it wont happen and if it did we wouldnt be able to afford good defenders as our transfer budget will ow be £2.50 and a packet of monstor munch.

huge anti climax, the first half of the dreaded outcome has happened so likely now means the spuds will win the CL to cap it off

luckily im a rugby man so none of this matters 🙂

As for Arsenal, as I pointed out before they’re almost a different side when not playing at the Emirates. There’s a huge disparity between their home and away record. They really need players who will stand up and be counted. They’re just too flaky at the moment.

Pulsic very talented but definitely not a Hazard by the way stevie that’s the only pet shop boys number I like. They were too much of a pretty boys band.

Hazard is irreplaceable but we’ve lost great players before Cech,Terry, Lampard and Drogba come to mind just from the Abramovich era the Club is the constant and players just pass through it no matter how good they are.

I’ve seen most of the Chelsea greats all the way back to Osgood and it’s difficult to say who was the best but having been lucky enough to have seen Hazard up close and personal in the flesh at the Bridge skill wise I would say Zola came closest.

Pulisic is a different player with a different skill set to Hazard but him on one wing and Hudson Odoi when he’s recovered from his injury on the other will be very interesting and potentially very exciting and we got him young too it was a smart move making that purchase in January and even smarter given the current transfer ban assuming it sticks.

But today is about celebrating winning another European trophy and Hazards 7 years at Chelsea which have been wonderful to watch and on that note I’m taking my wife out to lunch today and we’ll have a Bellini or two to celebrate both.?
