Ye but itβs like that with everything nine. The ridiculous over reaction to a defeat for certain teams from the media is ridiculous
Sari is doubt exactly how he shoukd he be doing.imhe needs to build and he needs time so it be interesting to see if he keeps his job if Chelsea finish 5th but they have a huge chance to win the Europa league

25th January 2019 at 10:26 am #32075Anonymous9, well played Chelsea it looks a bloody amazing final. Spurs were very poor over both legs and never looked good enough to make the final. It is plain for everyone to see our squad isn’t good enough the exception being Daniel Levy. If there was ever a time for him to make statement signings showing the players and manager his intentions it’s now, is he likely to do it ?? that’s a big fat no.
I reckon he’s playing a game of chicken, banking on them all staying with the club, I think he is going to get one or two shocks and this team could break up.This Spurs squad were so close to becoming a very, very good side if he had brought in a couple of signings of the standard signed by the City, Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal , instead we got nothing.
Well played Baldy we are once again the “Nearly” team._____________________________

25th January 2019 at 10:26 am #32076Very true Sean we saw it on the Chelsea site too.
As you say Sarri needs time it’s taken Klopp over 3 years and a number of transfer windows to get where Liverpool are now and credit to FSG for giving him that time despite losing three Finals.
Sarri has only been at Chelsea circa 6 months and arrived late meaning he had a very limited pre season and a very limited transfer window to work in.
I would very very disappointed in the Club if finishing 5th cost Sarri his job and I don’t think it will the Club went out of their way to get him Higuain which I think is a very good sign.
We are a Club in transition playing a totally different style of football and it will take time and one or two more signings to get it closer to the way Sarri wants to play imo. Cheers 999

25th January 2019 at 10:33 am #32078Cheers TBA. I think you’re probably right about Levy and that this Spurs team arrived at the wrong time with the new ground about to come on board which I think prevented you strengthening and kicking on to win numerous trophies.

25th January 2019 at 8:32 pm #32096I’ve yet to see what Saari actually put out. Seems to me as somebody in a moment and getting used to the Brit Media. Personally, I’ve always deemed this to be a wrong move to place any form of critique in public, purely because of the Vultures in the Media that exist.
Maybe at best, a combination of whatever was going through the Blokes mind. Time will tell though. Personally, I’m not sure as such.
Craig Levein on the other hand slagged his Striker off outright in public. To say the least, completely unhealthy and plainly WRONGFUL.
