I’ve looked into my Crystal ball and it’s been an amazing 12 months…
The mighty Spuds suddenly realize it’s September and the grass at Wembly is exactly the same as the grass at White Hart Lane, rampaging their way to the Premiership title in March, having won 29 games in a row. Having qualified top of their group in the Champions League, with a memorable 6-0 victory at the Bernabau thanks to a Super Harry Hat-trick (his 9th of the campaign), a Deadly Dele Double and a Garath Bale own-goal, we faced the might of Barca in the Final, cruising to another 6-0 victory after the shocking announcement of Spuds signing Messi on a free, with Messi stating his desire to work with Poncho and Company as they are the best side he has ever seen. Buoyed by a ridiculous high, the England team, containing 7 Spuds players as 1st choice starters, go to the World Cup, with another Super Harry Hat trick (22nd of the season) winning the final over an Ozil lead Germany, 3-1 with Germany scoring a penalty. Having been crowned the best in player in the World, Super Harry is happy to pass on captaincy to Messi and the mighty Spuds set a new record winning the first 33 games of the season….
