Problem is nine, he gets no help. Matip doesn’t help taa. Matip was shocking today. The lad is young. We never doubled up on zaha. We got lucky today
To many mistakes at the back but we showed balls to fight back. Just delighted we won
Agree, Aussie mate. I’ve defended winji but he just never turns up away from home
Robertson had been a snip. He’s been excellent and after a quiet first half, really grew into the game

31st March 2018 at 5:01 pm #18887AnonymousYa Beni, I was nodding my head when Mane was booked. There just wasn’t enough contact for.gim to not play on. I don’t want to be too critical of him because he’s a good player who cares abournhis performances but that was a disgrace.
Ya wijnaldum was poor. As for him not playing well away, it’s not that simple. He’s had plenty of very food away performances since we signed him, he just doesn’t score. That said, his performance levels are just not there this season in general. Some of ye will remember me banging on about how good a player he was on the other site…. He needs to get his head down and improve.
Matip is another player who is fading. Im not sure what to make of him now. Maybe we need to look for a new top CB in the summer.
Yes winning was fantastic and doing it while playing bad is a relief nut my point is that it’s not the sign of a title winning side that the media always go on about. Playing well and winning today would have been better than this. We won’t get away with this on Wednesday.
Delighted for the 3 points tho. We’re keeping pressure on Utd for 2nd and closer to securing a top 4 place.

31st March 2018 at 6:00 pm #18901Just got in from work – was checking my phone for updates, and once we equalized, I was lit up and had the thought for the first time that we’ve reached a level now where we don’t capitulate against the lower teams.
Only Swansea has done us, but other than that, our defeats have all been against teams in the top 6.
That pattern last season was different as we had a better record against the top teams, but were crumbling against those at the lower end of the table.
I check flash scores late on and I see 2-1!
It’s a big big win for us and a big big 3 points. As far as any new injuries go, I think the only player is Adam Lallana.
I’m just delighted and with ease that we’ve come good and now we can fully focus on Wednesday and hopefully give a good account of ourselves.

1st April 2018 at 11:27 am #18933Watched some highlights just now. Palace are all over the place and the amount of chances we created, there was always a chance of us getting the goals.
There were flashbacks of 2014 under Rodgers and I can’t believe it’s 4 years – where does time go?!
It seems there was dodgy officiating, but as mentioned in my opening comments, I’ll take a win and 3 points is 3 points.
On the evidence of listening to yesterday’s commentary, Everton are awful, though knowing us, they’ll try and raise their game next Saturday, but we should be home and dry with another 3 points.
