As I said previously when you’ve got the Aussies down you have to stand on their necks that’s what England have failed to do in all three tests.

Aussies now 52 for 3 this Test Match may not go past day two.?

Disgraceful batting, any Lancashire league team would have put a better performance than that. We have NO test match quality batters and that is the problem. They play 20/20 cricket, some of the supposed shots makes me think I can do better than that. BAT on BALL next time but this match has past us by now and we had to win it. I can see an Australian lead over250-300, far too much for our lot

I have another suggestion….For the second innings, reverse the batting order, make sure Root is No11. we may make a few more runs!!!!! Maybe get to 90

Brian, ha,ha, he’s had disaster hasn he’s a great one day player but that’s a different game.

As an opener test cricket is about surviving first he needs to move down the order in the second innings and Root or Denly will have to move up the order.

Without Roy digs out a big innings in the 2nd innings he needs to be left out and he probably needs leaving out anyway we need a belligerent I will not give up my wicket opener for the next test.

Sadly, from my World in upbringing, I can purely put this down to just no Test Match Cricket. Nothing to Look forward to after the heroics.

GA Gooch, Atherton, DI Gower, AJ Lamb, Robin Smith, and most of all, I.T Botham.

All White Clothing and Blue helmets albeit Gooch’s.

Headingly, Egbaston, Old Trafford, Lords, The Oval.

These GOLDEN DAYS are TRULY MISSED and SADLY taken away.

It is Moos but there’s currently the Ashes and England aren’t doing great. If they turn this test around though it would be quite something although I’m not holding my breath.?
