Rover, Pulasic and Loftus Cheek from Chelsea have tested positive for Covid and Arsenal have 4 players recovering from Covid a couple of which may be back. I don’t think the game is under threat though.

11th September 2021 at 11:59 am #184766Thinking back the original thread and when the subject of furlough was spoken about, Boris this week has really shown a different and a more aggressive side to his nature enforcing changes to our National Insurance Contributions to aid Social Care.
Generally we pay enough tax as it is and this is unfair on low wage earners having to work lots of hours.
Furlough was too good to be true and tables have been turned.
What I would like to see clearly is how our money is used on public services and the difference it makes.

20th October 2021 at 9:14 am #186867This government really is a shambles.
Now NHS stress we should go back to wearing masks because of the rise in cases.
Will we return to Lockdown?

20th October 2021 at 10:13 am #186870Everything is far too open imo and we rushed into lifting the restrictions far to early imo we need to think about reintroducing masks etc sooner rather than later now.
Major problems exist in the Secondary Schools we need to get their vaccinations done and accelerate the 3rd vaccine there seems to be confusion with that too.

20th October 2021 at 11:10 am #186875AnonymousNine, we haven’t learned anything. It’s always weak measures, or too late, lifted too early. This is really only perpetuating the problem.
We’re getting rid of masks in, I think 2 days, with numbers shooting up. Madness. Why are masks an issue? It impacts absolutely nothing to ask people to wear masks. I’d rather not give people the option either because it’s the unvaccinated who will be the first to go around without them.

My whole family has it now. 4 of us. My daughter caught it in school.
No taste or smell and some flu like symptoms but we be much worse without the vaccine.
Thankfully no one is majorly sick at the minute.

12th November 2021 at 2:50 pm #188890Really sorry to hear that Sean. Schools seem to be a major problem.
My Grandson has it too he’s only 11.
My wife and I had our 3rd booster on the 6/11 she’s been rough ever since. I keep telling her it’s still better than getting Covid.
