I’m purely taking this from the angle of being a prolific goal machine. Just somebody ever-ready and potentially mercurial serving Liverpool for a long time.
As a side, Salah should stand effectively for our own club player of the year along with Sadio and Phillipe purely on the grounds of attitude, behaviour and professionalism consistently.

18th December 2017 at 8:42 am #9111For Salah to stay at Liverpool for a long time, Liverpool first need to keep Coutiniho imo. If they continue to sell their best players, others will follow and that will include Salah.

18th December 2017 at 9:10 am #9118Chuky..you are right, his agent already on the move. I feel sorry for Liverpool being in this position but they have come up with good replacements before.

18th December 2017 at 9:20 am #9119I dont see what the attraction could for playing in other league than the EPL, no other sport in the entire world has such intensity and world wide fascination as the EPL, it is followed all over the world even in war torn countries. I would rather play for any team in the EPL than your Barca, Real, Bayern, Juventus. Once you go to those teams your exposure diminishes rapidly unless you are a caliber player like Messi.

30th December 2017 at 9:19 pm #10525Nil, Such an exciting player Batistuta shame he has suffered so badly with his ankles:
“Gabriel Batistuta has revealed that the excruciating ankle pain he felt after retiring from the game led him to ask a specialist to amputate his legs.
Now 45, the former striker enjoyed a glittering career with several big teams in Serie A, most notably Fiorentina, where he spent almost a decade, scoring 168 goals.
However, Argentina’s record World Cup goalscorer hasn’t had a particularly enjoyable retirement.
βI left football and overnight I couldn’t walk,β Batistuta told TyC Sports. βI wet the bed even though the bathroom was only three meters away. It was 4am and I knew if I stood my ankle would kill me.
βI went to see Doctor Avanzi (a specialist in Orthopaedics and trauma) and told him to cut off my legs. He looked at me and told me I was crazy.
“I couldn’t bare it any longer. I can’t put in to words just how bad the pain was.β
The South American idol has since had less drastic treatment in the form of screws, and although only one leg was augmented, he is now able to enjoy golf without much trouble.
βI chose the right leg, the doctor couldn’t do both,β he said. βI didn’t care. My problem is that I have no cartilage or tendons. My 86 kilos are supported by bones alone. That’s what generated the pain.
βI’m much better now than I was three years ago.β

30th December 2017 at 9:36 pm #10526Thankyou Nine, and wonderful mate. I always have a slight incline on Argentina and had a little it of a chat on this with my little Bro on the back the subject of Neymar and Brazil.
Claudio Cannigia had his demons along with Maradonna so Gabriel Batistuta in which I love was a genuine breath of fresh air.
Got the VHS footage mate in which I should convert which it being original versus Greece re the opening game of 94. Batistuta: GET THE BALL AND BANG! He was just a sensation – no goal-hanger too; this individual was Powerful and Magnificent in his own right.

31st December 2017 at 11:35 am #10568There could be a reason Wrighty comparing Salah to Messi. Something more about his demeanour and application.
