Pagan, I like Garry Neville’s proposal which was any PL Club furloughing their staff gets a transfer ban.?

Forgetting whether Spurs are or aren’t pushed financially if Spurs were prepared to sell Kane Levy will want absolutely stupid money which given the current circumstances will put even the richest Clubs off.

The Chelsea v Spurs game was one of the last 3 games of the season.

I do think the desire amongst the PL Club’s and the football authorities is to complete the season somehow however imo there will come a point where the various movers and shakers won’t want it to overly impact on next Season which is borne out by the comments from UEFA the FA and the letter from the ECA and UEFA to all European Clubs.

I’m not sure what happens if the season is declared null and void but for me whatever happens Liverpool should be crowned Champions.

How all that works legally if the season is voided is open to conjecture as supposedly a season voided means it didn’t happen which is perhaps why the PL are seemingly in favour of describing it as”curtailing” the season due to force majeure if it can’t be completed and that’s the way it finally goes.

Personally I don’t think playing the season out over a few weeks with all games at Wembley behind closed doors with no VAR when VAR has played a significant part in a number of results so far this season is going to reflect a fair and accurate end to the season it would surely provide Liverpool with the two wins they need but it might cost for instance Villa their place in the PL because their best form is at home with their fans backing them.

My suggestion would be to call the season if it can’t start by circa mid/end June forget the 2019/20 FA Cup, CL and EL’s,decide League positions based on current average points x 38 games, don’t relegate anyone promote the top 2 in the Championship on the same basis with the third placed position also promoted based on head to heads between the 3/4/5 and 6th placed Clubs and play a 23 PL next season with 6 relegated to bring us back to 20 PL Clubs the following season.

However even when next Season could start is open to conjecture and we may also need to lose the League Cup and FA Cup next season and all CL and EL games might have to be played on a one game knock out basis.

Sir Harry is going nowhere because nobody will pay the kind of fee that Levy might want for him but Kane reiterated he wants to win trophies so until Spurs start to do that this will potentially be an ongoing problem.

Pre Coronavirus I would have said his it was a good time to try and cash in on Kane especially given his outpourings to Jamie Redknap,his continuous injury problems and his age 27 next season meaning his value will decrease going forwards because he will have a limited resale value going forwards and consequently his value will diminish in the transfer market season by season.

To be fair Chucky the Chelsea v Spurs game was played with 3 games to go and Spurs finished 11 points behind Leicester as they only took 5 points from their last 5 games so they wouldn’t have won the title whatever the Chelsea result. So perhaps it wasn’t Chelsea who were the wxxxxxs!?

Where Kane goes or does not go is not really the issue, we know from experience with plenty of other players though, if a player wants to move on his agent will find a way.Nobody will pay 200 million for him though, not in the current climate of financial accountability
