1st April 2020 at 10:27 am #92514I’d hate that Mav.
We still wouldn’t have won it in my opinion
As pagan said it would be handed to us.
The history books may say it but it will be hugely tarnished.
That’s totally unfair on other teams
Whatever happens , happens chums
Just want to get our lives back to normal

1st April 2020 at 11:29 am #92515“There are some very interesting facts emerging just over the past couple of hours about their
(Harry and Meghan’s) futuree relations with the Royal Family.“Buckingham Palace or no other royal communications representatives including palace spokespeople or household representatives or royal sources will speak anymore on behalf of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“Instead they now have this PR company in the US which has previously represented people like Michael Jackson and Harvey Weinstein.
“They are now representing the couple.”
Dear oh dear.

1st April 2020 at 11:40 am #92516I think Daniel Levy is right football will have to have a long hard look at itself re transfer fees, agents fees and wages etc etc given the Corona virus crisis and no money flowing through footballs doors and if it’s a problem for Spurs and the rest of the PL just think what a problem it is for the lower league Clubs.
It can’t be just do as I say though and whilst Levy is right and has probably been prudent in taking the steps he has to trim Spurs wage bill he himself allegedly earnt £7m last year which included a £3m bonus for getting the Spurs Stadium finished on time even though it wasn’t finished on time?
He has to show leadership here and cut his own salary and bonus package too and that applies across the whole of football too not just Daniel Levy.

1st April 2020 at 3:09 pm #92520‘€100m signings are finished’ – Spanish press analyse coronavirus economic impact
A good thing to come out of this tragedy,I guess.Imagine Spuds selling sir Kane for £50m,and Utd selling the Instavirus for a ……………… packet of crisps[salt & vinegar] would be too much wasted on that waste of space._____________________________

1st April 2020 at 4:46 pm #92524Seems sensible to me Pagan there’s no point in UEFA keeping coming up with dates they’ve got no realistic chance of meeting currently.

1st April 2020 at 6:35 pm #92530Impossible to predict when any Sports will return imo Adlab. British Grand Prix will almost certainly be next along with the British Open.
The only thing that really matters now is human lives and thd latest news continues to be very worrying.
Stay safe buddie et al. Cheers 9’s

The only thing I can think of is that they will represent “further measures” for the govt to announce to impress on the population._____________________________

1st April 2020 at 8:18 pm #92536Sean, unfortunately some people in London are still having to work they and key workers like nurses etc still have to get to work.
Personally I wouldn’t travel on it under any circumstances but it is a vastly reduced service now with all the following Stations closed down.
Bakerloo Line
Lambeth North, Regents Park, Warwick Avenue, Kilburn Park, Charing CrossCentral Line
Holland Park, Queensway, Lancaster Gate, Chancery Lane, RedbridgeCircle Line
Bayswater, Great Portland Street, BarbicanDistrict Line
Bow Road, Stepney Green, Mansion House, Temple, St James’s Park, Gloucester RoadJubilee Line
Swiss Cottage, St John’s Wood, Bermondsey, SouthwarkNorthern Line
Tuffnell Park, Chalk Farm, Mornington Crescent, Goodge Street, Borough, Clapham South, Tooting Bec, South Wimbledon, HampsteadPiccadilly Line
Caledonian Road, Arsenal, Covent Garden, Hyde Park Corner, Bounds Green, Manor HouseVictoria Line
Pimlico, Blackhorse RoadCan’t understand hardware stores though I can’t see they sell any essentials.
I’m sure Adlab is right though we’re almost certainly heading for a much stricter lockdown very soon in the UK.

1st April 2020 at 8:54 pm #92539Ye I k ow that nine. I totally understand people who are essential workers need transport but some non-essential people must still be travelling
There is no social distance practiced on these trains. There are reduced services which means less trains so people are Ll ploughing onto the reduced trains.
What’s the answer for that? The Uk are behind other countries. You have the prime minister shaking hands with victims 3 weeks ago.
Like most countries , uk didn’t react quick enough. First reported case in the uk was 31st jan. I just can’t but feel the uk is going to get really worse and worse as they were so lax and didn’t react when we knew how serious this was
It is what it is now. No point blaming anyone. Uk have tough measures in but people are still flicking to hardware stores for non essential items and it’s jusy crazy mate

1st April 2020 at 9:16 pm #92540Where we really seem to have been very slow is with testing. We zhould have already tested a substantial number of NHS staff by now and we havent.
I am beginning to detect too many excuses from govt briefings. Hope Im wromg_____________________________
